  1. https://www.solovox.xyz/tag/q8-cherry-box you can get these from Lazada or I know a guy in Hua Hin that has them in stock. they are very good boxes and have an app called cherry tv that can be linked on most services
  2. https://xpatfone.com/ try expat phone, you can port your old uk number to it so its free for people to call or message you on your old number you also get 600 minutes free to uk numbers so far so good for me,
  3. get yourself a Q8 box. you can get them in some malls or from aliexpress it is made by solovox and has a app called cherry tv app it is a knock off of a app called mytvonline, it is spot on for 1300 baht (aliexpress) or 1800 from malls locally.
  4. regardless of which service you purchase, if the service has a website or webbased player and advertises, they will get issues with payment methods and internet throttling. I have been with a service since 2016 , the guy does not advertise, migrates to a new facebook page once every 2-3 years, has not website advertising it, has 4-5 proxy server that customers use depending on how long they been a customer, this means if a new customer is a grass , they can only block a tiny amount of people. its fairly simple " the answer is useless if everyone knows it"
  5. Don't forget guys , it is you that is the tax resident in Thailand not any companies you own in Hong Kong etc. So if you have an IT business or similar , just have a business account in hk or Lithuania ( reduced crs info) etc Pay all rent and bills as expenses from the business account. Then get a ATM multiple currency card from the bank. Then pay your wife or housekeeper a salary from the business account with most returned to you in cash. Several other things can done as well. Example buying gold using bank transfer then selling back for cash a few hours later.
  6. I went there once not through choice was part of a group, had the worst roast dinner ever, total sh*te.
  7. 3BB seems to be better this afternoon, but a vpn to USA will fix most issues if you still have some, using a vpn to london or frankfurt or paris will not help in this situation, you need your traffic to go via the US
  8. has anyone got issues with 3BB , I have issues myself when trying to use international servers in france and uk, it is constantly dropping. I have spoken to other 3bb users and seems to be users that have been given a shared 171. ip address I really just want to get more information before I call them and ask to speak to the isp team
  9. With the screw being tightened by various authorities and websites targeted, you might be better off judging a service by how reliable the channels are rather than glossy websites The best services now only take customers that are friends of friends, much safer, less agro. They still manage to grow as they end up being more reliable. Been with my service for seven years, Other than issues caused by xtream codes software being busted four years ago, been rock solid. It has been friends of friends only since 2019 and is still growing.
  10. any s905x4 android box will give good performance. a s922x box will give more than needed but can be good if playing games on it. search choose chipsets on lazada
  11. I smell bacon what we have here is a guy wanting us to share our known good providers. dont fall for it
  12. they used to able to verify accounts, you had to send passport and utility bill and someone in singapore would verify it. my business PP was verified this way 7 years ago, so the decision to not allow farang verification is part of moving from singapore regulators to thailand regulators the only way forward is to open a PP account in Philipines or singapore to avoid Thailand rules
  13. I have a business PayPal opened 7 years ago in Thailand Verified with a old ais mobile bill. Have on average 40-50k gbp throught it per year but only half of it is profit. No way in the world am I paying tax on it. Off to the Philippines next week to open a bank and PayPal, best long term solution, then back to hh
  14. maybe a lot of you have misunderstood what has happened here cant be arsed to read every post on the thread but here goes I dont think the buyer agreed to purchase outside of lazada, it was just a well polished scam, the seller ships a parcel, same size and weight and price as the item sold via the official lazada site. the buyer signs and pays thinking it is the official item from the lazada seller. its slick and actually makes me proud, first sign of any intelligence demonstrated by a Thai that I've seen in 12 years of living here. Just a shame its dishonest.
  15. Just a scam but not Lazada fault. The seller knows the buyer is expecting a parcel to be delivered, the size, weight, price. So he sends a parcel via a different courier company matching those specs. Very inventive , Can't see how Lazada can stop people running this scam for years to come.
