Yes I was at Mai Khao beach in Phuket yesterday. A middle aged Russian man and woman did the runner on their bill. Owner and staff of restaurant running down the road after them. They were driving a rented SUV. Owner told me it is the third time this week Russian have done the runner. This is small snapshot but I imagine this will be getting much worse moving forwards as they remain here on overstay and there meagre savings are all used up.
