Coconuts used to be about 16 or 18 baht, now same size is 45 to 50 baht. Both vendors I use to buy from Closed. No one buying at close to 3x price from a few years ago. What will happen is same thing in US when they raised the wages for everyone. Prices will get to the point people living in Thailand will start cutting back and say "Nope" Tourist, Rich people will still buy. Restaurants will close, people will be unemployed/underemployed and struggle. Tax revenue from now closed Restaurants will disappear and Money will have to come from somewhere.

Unless you put all your expenses in a spreadsheet and total it over many months it is hard to understand how much you need. Access to resources and support for students who have potential and who are bright to take advanced learning courses for Free or with discount to make affordable. Girlfriends son was working for only 10 days and went to get some food for another table he said it took only about 3 minutes. Only about 400 baht but that is what he earned for working in one night. This Same Popular Bar/Resturant All the employees were scheduled to work this week. Manager notified All employees Monday when scheduled to Work, they will be Renovating the place and they are Closed for 5 days.
