No, in my post and as per OP’s thread, I was discussing foolish maneuvering. Though I do see plenty of farangs not wearing helmets and there are two in the neighborhood that ride around with their kids without helmets. To assume farangs are somehow immune to stupidity is nonsense, see it every day. -

See them every day, and mostly the younger under 50yo’s trying to impress other farangs so to be noticed, either a gayish thing (which is fine) or a anti-social disposition, weird though. Per capita, I see more careless farangs riding. Yesterday seen four farang stupid maneuvers, this morning two, Thai zero today and one yesterday. We only read about some of the farang traffic deaths and very seldom hear about any injury incidents. -

After all the evidence presented today that Rantisi Hospital was a base for terrorist operations, US President Joe Biden comes out with a statement demanding that Shifa Hospital be a “protected zone.” Is he trying to protect Hamas?! He also clearly doesn’t know the Geneva Conventions. The moment a protected facility is used for hostile activities, it loses protected status. -

Personally I don’t think a week in cm is enough time to get a feel for the area given that cm is very touristy (note the feedback on this thread) and weather/smoke conditions changes during the year. Many expats really can’t handle the smoke conditions and leave during that period or just leave entirely. Everyone has their own tolerances, to each their own personal preference.

120km north of CM is in Myanmar. 120km from cm city is Fang district CM.😊

You need the QR code that is on the back of each license to register. Yes each license has a different code

You can use the DLT QR license app, just as good as the hard copy. If you don’t have the app already but have a photo of the back of your license, then you can register on the app. Also I keep screenshots off the app of front and back of both my licenses.

Though not all the threads that descend into trashing get thrown in the “lounge” and there is no way to put the thread on ignore.

There should be a forum section named something like “Intense Argument Free for All” where the threads that descend into incendiary abyss can be moved there, with the ability to to ignore that particular forum completely so none of it will show up anywhere. This way the habitual angsters can vent their aggression on each other, out of sight-out of mind for the individuals that have no interest in it.
