  1. It doesn’t make you any less of an import.
  2. A friend in the US migrated and obtained legal US citizenship about 45 years ago USC graduate, though she’s integrated well, it’s quite obvious she’s not local, her daughter born and raised in the US is a local, obviously by talking with her, she’s an absolute California local. You imports really wannabe be but you ain’t. Speaking of which, why would anyone ever want to be something that they are not? Does it really matter? No not at all, people have the right to think and feel as they wish no matter how silly it is.
  3. Well what good is that? Good grief, do we really need a dysfunctional halfwit at the helm of the free world? What excuse would be conjured up if he said “nuke ‘em man!” after half the world is in a heap of torched rubble? “Oh…ummm…what he really meant to say is -go puke on them man!”
  4. Yeah so what, the climate is changing, show uncorrelated non-presumptive proof that human activity is the cause. You can’t, because there is none. These silly grafts don’t show or prove anything along with the incoming links.
  5. …Los Angeles, Detroit, Chicago, New York certainly a big difference compared to cm, a relatively calm region. Nothing anyone can do about individuals going off on psychotic tangents, which happens everywhere, until it’s too late, accept for tossing them in the clink and keeping them there.
  6. Never. Local is where you’re from, not where you’re at. Example: Bkk people come up to cm and setup shops, they are obviously not local lanna people. Certainly Thai folks are not in any way consider a foreigner local, no matter what level of delusion one immerse themselves in, oh…got Thai citizenship? Sorry, still not local even though it makes you feel it-5-5-5. I know a person in cm of European descent born and raised in cm and speaks fluent mueang, he is local, you wannabes are not. Really now, get real already. It’s quite amazing how some get carried away by their wild delusions.
  7. Never. My wife is going there tomorrow, I’m staying behind. Too crowded too much.
  8. I always go overly prepared, two photo copies of everything as I once was asked for two copies of relevant pp pages, an anomaly but it can happen again.
  9. No such thing here. Good luck with all that.
  10. Crime exists everywhere on the planet where humans are, is not endemic to only a certain region or social class. It’s found wherever humans reside.
  11. Coming from the east on HK, u-turn at the Maya intersection. U-turn is a way of life here, get used to it.
  12. novacova replied to ricklev's topic in Chiang Mai
The patch work on the holes they’re digging around the moat is elementary at its finest. If you don’t know where the gouges are in the road then you’re in for rattling and surprises.
  13. I highly doubt anyone here would admit to such a thing if they did. Given that it’s destined for failure due to the paper trail/record of passport stamps raising red flags upon arrival. They’d be posting about their experience of getting busted and subsequently ridiculed here.
  14. Authoritarian autocratic is left, always has been always will be. Any group or government imposing its will upon individuals meets the definition of left from this vantage point. Some or all of the following words the left despises…freedom, capitalism, liberty, self ownership, free speech…all of which are equally important one to the other for what it is. The modern day leftist are doing their best to hack contort reinvent the definition of those values in order to diminish and attain complete control. That’s what modern day autocratic authoritarianism looks like.
  15. KH, they’re stuck with her, quite the little jamb they have got themselves in.
  16. What happens there has an effect on what happens here and elsewhere
  17. Right, the democrats, what little is left of them certainly are not cult members…unlike the cult ridden extremest leftist that are by far the majority of the left nowadays.
  18. Hideous. My condolences to the doorbell ringers
  19. I’m retired. Sundays are no different than any other day, take it easy and no rush.
  20. I can care less what others label themselves as, it’s really none of my business how others view themselves, though I do find it silly sometimes. It’s when they impose their beliefs on others, especially the vulnerable and that practice is accepted is what’s annoying and flat out wrong. Civilization will always be held back by the differentiating of beliefs, ethnicity race religion lifestyle and ideologies. And trying to change human nature by force is completely idiotic. It is what it is.
