You have 3 months before expiry and 1 year after expiration to renew your license. For renewing your car and motorcycle license you’ll need 2 copies of each document, one copy for each license: main passport page, permit to stay stamp, sign each copy. Doctor certificate. Resident certificate. Bring the Passport and both licenses. I don’t think it’s required though the last time I went to renew I included copies of my entry stamp and tm30, they didn’t say whether it was necessary or not. It never hurts to be overly prepared.

I don’t think you have much of a chance of recourse. Though depending on how mechanically inclined someone is, can certainly curtail such things happening. If they misadjusted the valves, I wouldn’t get a kilometer down the road before I returned it and let them know that they forgot to adjust the valves. Then, if possible, uninstall the dtac app and anything else that is associated with dtac. It’s been awhile since I used android though I recall a file app that be used to search for sub-apps and access to delete, rooting not necessary to run. If you have an iPhone and an American sim, then you can set your phone on WiFi calling, then you will be able to make and receive calls and receive the codes via text. You may have to turn off the local cellular data with airplane mode on, and with WiFi on.
