  1. If you use Dulux Weathershield, then it has a built in primer. It's Acrylic based, so ideal for hot climates. Also don't get the textured finish as you'll eat through your brushes.
  2. If you live near the sea and have green mold, then a spray / wash with sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) first before the primer.
  3. MERCY Pattaya, Duck Square at the back of Big-C South Pattaya.
  4. Judging by last weekends trouncing of AUS by NZ (7-38), then I think New Zealand. France have a good chance, home soil and all that, but depends if the players are having a strop or not. Looking at the fixture list, then France and NZ should win pool A, SA and Ireland for pool B, Wales and AUS for pool C and I predict England and Japan in pool D. Should make for a good tournament. With a 5 hour time difference, then the evening games are on at 02:00 in the morning. Not sure if bars can get a special license to extend the current 2:00 AM closing time like they can in the UK. As an aside, anyone know a good local seller in Pats or BKK for rugby tops, as left my 2003 winning O2 shirt in the UK? RWC-2023_Match-Schedule_ENG.pdf
  5. Or could have been a reaction to the local delicacy "Mule et Fritz".
  6. The top photo is a Ficus Benjamina. If you have a cat, then as in the photo put pebbles on the top to stop the moggies from digging up the soil, also will stop them using it as a loo.
  7. Weeping Fig ( Ficus Benjamina). If you had direct sunlight a lemon tree, ideal for G&T.
  8. Lotus at South Pattaya had a promotion on Monday with buy 1 slice get half a slice free. Not sure about now. Also Big-C in South Pattaya as well as Central Pattaya have a selection. Also as Jacko45k says, Tops @ Central. If you go to Big-C at Central Pattaya, then highly recommend a bottle of Aussi/Thai 2017 or better still 2016, Knight Black Horse to accompany the cheese. Only 399THB a bottle, 13% Cab Sav with a bit of Thai Roselle.
  9. Good point. Still wouldn't touch it. Mind you, New Tech does appear in old pictures and paintings, like Ferdinand Georg Waldmuller's 1860 picture 'The Expected One' with the girl holding an iPhone.
  10. Don't forget as you're buying in Thailand, the date would be in Buddist years, so that makes this 1480. Somewhat old stock, suggest you don't buy it as most likely the platters have rusted.
  11. Steve Hillage, Rainbow Dome Musick from 1979. Was recorded specially for the "Mind, Body & Spirit Festival" at Olympia in April that year.
  12. Would 2nd using JIB. I research on-line using their website (and others), but order face2face in my local store. That way I get to check the goods before leaving. Use the branch in Tukcom Pattaya.
  13. What was the gaff called in BKK? Just wondering as like a good Surf'n'Turf for next time I'm up there. Cheers.
  14. Remember doing a gig on the Gold Coast with the Divinyls, during their "I Touch Myself" tour. The venue was quite modern, and whoever designed the stage got inspiration from Selina's in Sydney, as the stage was about 7 feet high, but was triangular shaped in the back corner. Consequently Chrissy nearly fell off on a number of occasions.
  15. Whenever Brisbane gets mentioned in surveys like this, reminds me of Koala Sprint off Midnight Oil's Head Injuries album. "Brisbane, where's Brisbane". Seem to remember their manager at the time had a map of AUS with Queensland the same colour of the sea, apart from a small island called Cairns!
  16. Considering this was put together by Honda, I would have thought the classic track by Madness would get a mention, Honda Honda Honda. On a more serious note, Tom Robinson Band with 2-4-6-8 Motorway should have got a mention. For a kick up the jacksy if you're beginning to nod off at the wheel, then a shot of Motörhead is a must. Same for Acca Dacca. For those that worked in and around London and commuted by car, then nothing more annoying than when the radio station plays this when you're stuck on the M25...
  17. Wot, no Roger Whittaker, always liked a good whistle
  18. Cheers miladdo. Off to be "Shipwrecked and comatose, Drinking fresh Mango Juice.. Fun, Fun, Fun".
  19. Cheers. Thanks for the heads up.
  20. Smeg. I had just checked Baan's website to check opening hours to pop over early tomorrow. According to Google they open at 09:00 tomorrow and the opening hours were updated just 3 weeks ago! Any suggestions for the nearest alternative for shopping for curtain poles and ready-made curtains, plus some electrical bits and bobs?
  21. Any sign of Shergar in the pet section?
  22. "She" was "Down by the river" in "Kansas City" wearing "Red shoes", despite a "Brilliant mistake" "My aim is true" as she's still "This Year's model". "God give me strength" in "Oliver's Army" "Veronica " in my "New lace sleeves" with "No flag". Anyway off to "Chelsea", yours Declan Patrick MacManus OBE.
  23. Yep, same type as the Fridge man I bet.
  24. Och aye, yer canny beat it. Scottish gravy wit yer porridge.
  25. You've got me pining for a barraquito. Trained many a barman / restauranter over the years if they stock Licor 43.
