  1. Karma, the hotel owners dumped the staff instead of supporting them a little during the bad times and now the staff are telling them to shove it, and who can blame them. Now it is time to win them back with some understanding and a better pay and benefits package.
  2. Isn’t that one and the same?
  3. Yes and having spent 37 years presiding over the eventual fall of this once great airline did he learn anything? I have yet to see any evidence of anything other than rip off ticket prices. In an effort to remain loyal I paid £900 return LHR BKK LHR and the sister offshoot Thaismile hammered me for 6,000baht return BKK to KK, BKK, both sets of prices are grossly unfair and unjustified. These were astronomical rip off prices especially as respectively they used to be £450 to £520 and £680 on a very bad day return LHR and 2400 Baht return BKK to KK so now I have weighed up the time wasted waiting in the airports for domestic flights and decided to take the bus and enjoy the ride in good air conditioned comfortable lay back seats whilst watching a movie on my iPad. Wakeup T/A you are losing loyal customers because of your self imposed intransigence and if you continue on this path your creditors will see you for what you have become.
  4. Fingering ! Oh sorry misread it, was thinking about someone said she was 85 years old
  5. Just a thought but is brake failure or the wheels fell off no longer an accepted excuse
  6. Good for you but remember we are all conspired against every single day
  7. Have you ever thought that the common cold has not been cured or at least the public have not been told of a cure simply because it is the safest and most effective way to exercise the immune system without causing a dangerous pandemic? Asian influenza, Covid, and many other viruses in the same category are considered killers but the common cold is not, so research into it has probably been deemed unnecessary with the money being spent on more pressing viral problems
  8. You should read your own words, you write advising every one and then say you leave your passport in the safe? Have you any idea how much a passport is worth on the black market?
  9. I am sure that my reply makes more sense than your, at what point did I mention driving let alone driving at speed ! whilst one wonders at your ability to read and understand correctly you are correct on one point, it is in effect a international driving Permit however under the rules agreed across the world in 1949 it is commonly referred to a licence right or wrong so perhaps you are simply nit picking and must surely have something more constructive to do with your time,. at least one would hope so.
  10. Ah so the sound advice and the correct way to behave comes from a complete lack of knowledge about the Thai way in instances such as this? To the poster go with the advice about not paying on the spot, tell the cop you have to go the bank and request a ticket to be presented at the police station you may even find the price is dropped . Further whilst I have never been stopped I have been asked every time for my IDL and my DL from my own country which have been photocopied along with my PP when hiring a car in Thailand.
  11. We have certainly reached that point in the UK
  12. Correct me if I am wrong, but was the swastika along with the Eagle not the main emblems of the Third Reich? The Eagle was emblematic of the Roman Empire aspired to by the Third Reich and similarly the Swastika was adopted from a similar one used by Genghis Khan both of which were empires of their time and aspired to by Hitlers Third Reich ( empire)
  13. Given the level of history taught in Thai schools one wonders if they have ANY real idea of the true meaning of the swastika or indeed knowledge of the Third Reich and the death and destruction it caused.
  14. No greater love hath some than that for their helicopter
  15. Proves that these low life’s never learn. lead poison is the only real antidote and should be administered in double doses
  16. Just get a money trail and keep the receipts, then there can not be any awkward questions about source, and if you ever want to move it out of the country you can not be accused of earning it in country or laundering it. That what I would do anyway but it’s your choice
  17. Yes, when I got my extension in June this year a pink receipt was folded and stapled in my passport which worried me a little but did not touch it until I got home, then I took it out and saw it was a receipt for 1900baht for 30 days ( no mention or change from the 2000Baht I passed to the IO ) 555. I have since returned on the 45 day deal and no mention of the missing receipt
  18. I believe that happened when BMW sold the whole package to theChinese company but as I have not followed the finer details of the deal I would happily stand corrected
  19. The Brand is iconic but the company was bought by BMW and then sold on to a Chinese company and is no longer British. The only thing about the car that remains British by design is the brand name, other than that the car design is Chinese with some BMW influences
  20. Are you sure that you are not getting yourself mixed up with Coleman’s FRENCH mustard?
  21. That is one very big hole he will be digging if he gets caught out. just do everything you can do 100% legal then if you get some difficulties you can explore other avenues, but if you shoot yourself in the foot from the outset you will have nowhere to go. Try to find the mother, but if you fail get a good family brief for sound advice, if you know or have a pic of the mothers ID card and the area she lives in the cops will find her for the cost of a brown envelope just go see the chief dick in the station. Good luck hope you succeed
