Always a problem in China, lacking a national ID card is a major hindrance. Google says foreigners can use wechat pay, though. How to use WeChat Pay as a foreigner? (Full setup guide) https://wise.com/us/blog/wechat-pay-for-foreigners Yes, it is possible for users who aren’t Chinese citizens or permanent residents to use WeChat Pay. However, you might need to download the international version of the app, and you’ll face restrictions unless you have a Chinese bank account.

Agree with the above. Spend down what I've already transferred in, any further transfers go via Wise to the wife's bank account. She can then withdraw a monthly "salary" by ATM for me to spend locally. I manage my investments to stay just below the taxable amount in the US. Any tax here can not be claimed as a foreign tax credit on my US return, so I won't be able to "just get it back." Major purchases requiring external funds will be delayed.........or cancelled.....pending how this clusterbomb is actualized. If it's just a matter of limiting transfers in, that's manageable. If it comes to providing certified copies of US tax returns at annual extension time, though.............

Your example has nothing to do with cross-border settlement between countries that are NOT the US. "Ditching the dollar" for China and Thailand means they can remove $US currency exchange risk, can avoid multiple forex transactions into and out of an unneeded currency, and will be free(er) of US meddling in their sovereign transactions. It does not imply that no $US will be used anywhere, anytime. It does imply that China-Thai trade will be conducted in RMB and THB, and Thai-Korea trade will be conducted in THB and KRW, and Thai-US trade will be conducted in THN and USD. Trade is not an all-or-nothing zero-sum game for the Chinese. They're not the ones applying kinetic regime change for using the "wrong" currency.

I was having similar noise problems. Bought a new tank for the pump, which greatly reduced the noise. I pumped up the old one and mounted it on the supply line between the tank and pump, which seemed to lessen the noise even more.

Check the bladder. Remove the tank, stick a chopstick into the threaded hole. Should hit the rubber bladder after a couple centimeters. If it drops to the bottom, bladder is leaking. Your tank cannot be recharged unless you DIY a valve, then can inflate to 1 bar. Youtube videos explain how. Easier to buy a new one that comes with a car-tire inflation valve.

Why not? You can buy gold online on Taobao and have a robot delivery van bring your shiny precious to your home the next morning. Chinese banks are now selling direct online, in addition to selling coins and bars in the lobby.

Rice auction halted for safety tests to resume after a decade

Why not ferment and distill? It's gotta be worth something, being pre-aged and all. Chinese love their baijiu, worst it tastes the better. The most expensive has the flavor of turpentine. Kweichow Moutai Baijiu 23,940 ฿ / 750ml -
Having considered the possibilities, clever baby, why not start a new thread? Tell us your BIL is an accountant at a famous major grain silo, and has secret details on 150,000 sacks of specialty aged vintage stored rice! He's offered you a chance to get in on a deal to ship the rice......to Affika..........in exchange for some traditional Nigerian Prince brand instant yellow cake mix! Unfortunately, dear, you don't have the funds available to get in on the ground floor of this 3-layer wedding cake of a deal, so......... You take it from there, m'kay?

First thing..........map your circuits. Figure out exactly what is connected to each breaker, that includes lights and sockets, not just the hard-wired appliances. What about your consumer unit? What are the breaker ratings vs. how much load on each? Any empty slots available? What is the condition and rating of the cables running from the breakers to the junction boxes where it splits to lights and sockets? How many amps does your water pump pull at startup? It's rated at 205 watts which should be under 1 amp in operation, maybe 3 amp pull at startup. What else is on that circuit besides lighting? And can you trace it back to which breaker at the consumer unit?

I believe the rule is expired less than one year, simple renewal. If over one year, less than three, then retake the written test, but no driving test. Over three start from scratch, but.......... Show them your expired license, say it expired while you were stuck outside the country due to Covid. Wouldn't hurt to try. If not, then you'll have to go through the full process including driving test, as I've read you are only given one opportunity to convert a foreign license.

If I remember correctly, there are TWO bulk luggage windows in the carousel area at BKK. Don't know if they have any signage at these indicating which flights cargo go to which windows. When you head out to the taxi zone, you get a ticket with call number from the auto kiosk on the sidewalk. You can request a larger taxi at that time. Plenty of space -- I fit put two full-size bike cartons in the back of one along with a couple of suitcases. How much extra are you carrying? Bike bag is more compact thatn a box, so you might be able to take the Airport Link from the station on the lower level. Check with the airline regarding items in the bike box/bag. I've always thrown in a couple panniers with helmet and shoes and tools in the box along with the bike, up to the 32kg limit.

If he does have a reentry permit, then his extension is still valid. In that case, is it still possible to get a tourist visa?
