Deadly Altercation Erupts Among Friends Over 'Hitler' Drawing
Like this? Argument less about one boy drawing an ancient buddhist symbol, more about the boy drawing it on another boy. News article gets more interest this way.

I've studied more than 5,000 near death experiences. My research has convinced me without a doubt that there's life after death.
Can stop reading right here. Of course there's an in-between. It's called "dying." Looks like somebody graduated bottom of their class.

'Wise' what's up?
Standard transfers usually go through in seconds. If you ticked "funds for longterm in Thailand", that may required additional processing, possibly even human intervention, and may take a day or two. Also, if you're having Wise deduct from your German account, there is a small additional fee for that service. Sending from your German account should cost nothing. I assume domestic transfers in Europe are free as with ACH transfers in the US.

Chumphon highway crash claims three lives, investigation ongoing
The fatal accident caused the fatal accident? ummmmmmm............no. That was the the result. No idea what caused it. Why did the container truck hit the stationary vehicles?

Or you could read the full report and NOT see what actually caused the accident. I'm putting my money on micronarcoleptic textual brake failure.

£10,000 for a tourist visa now? Part 2.
Will they accept Thai bank account statements or must be UK-based?

Four Cars Involved in Accident at Thepprasit Intersection in Pattaya, Driver Blames Brake Failure
None of the above. I would blame a temporary localized disruption in the coefficient of friction, in other words a disturbance in the force.

Is 7/11 considered a legitimate tourist attraction yet?
Smart move. No Ferengi pricing at 7-11.

Teenager dies in high-speed motorbike crash on Chonburi’s new tourist bridge
We've already ruled out brake failure and microsleep, so what else could it be?

Teenager dies in high-speed motorbike crash on Chonburi’s new tourist bridge
Why a stupid place? On a long straight stretch with a posted limit of 50 kmh seems the right spot to, you know, keep the speed down.

Teenager dies in high-speed motorbike crash on Chonburi’s new tourist bridge
No, that's an optical delusion caused by the shadow. It was this.... Speeding, overtaking, not paying attention to the road.

Insanitee @ Jomtien immigration.
The 800K is NOT income.. 65K/month IS income showing you have funds to support yourself monthly. 800K is a bank balance at the beginning of the year in lieu of income, showing you have ~65K per month over the entire year to support yourself. Math says 65k*12=780K. Don't wanna put 800K in the bank? Transfer 65K/month. Easy. But sure. File a court case. That'll end well.

Thailand, via China
Then that is what you should do. Pick up a couple ATK tests at the 7-11. Do a test morning of flight. Take photo with cellphone. Have a spare test in your carry on, 'cause why not. https://www.hongkongairport.com/en/passenger-guide/COVID19.page

Some sites are outdated. Maybe call the airline, or at least check the airport websites.

Recommend moving service BKK to Isaan?
We ordered a 6W truck through Lala, but they told us they couldn't get the truck through our soi. We switched to two covered pickups, but then caught the covids and had to delay. During recovery, a friend suggested another mover with 6W trucks who had picked up from our building in the past. About the same price as Lala, but less professional. I'll ask the wife to find the contact info, can PM to you later.

McKinsey foresees AI technology dominating Thailand’s future
Instead of holding committee meetings at expensive resorts and pretending to be the hub of hubs, why not fix what's broken first? Here are three boring ideas: Overhead spaghetti power/comms lines. Dual-track reg'lar speed rail. Water lines and sewage. Not as word-salady as "generative AI and immersive technology," but truly impactful for the population. And still plenty of opportunity for "10% for the big guy."

Thailand just chose a prime minister. He’s not the one people voted for
What difference, at this point, would it make?

Proof that AN members will argue over anything.
You're crazy. That's an image of a small jar, apparently made of glass. Pots are for cooking, and are made of metal, not with strawbellies.

Proof that AN members will argue over anything.
No, it's not. It's a SAUCER and cup. Don't be so cup-o-centric. Down with the cupriarchy!
