I dunno. Having your feet stuck in concrete and then slowly dying of thirst doesn't sound like a quick and painless death. Unless you chew your feet off to escape, and then die of blood loss. But that's just me.

It's a start. But are you forgetting the 8% cuts for each of the next 5 years? That's convenient. -

You're having trouble unnerstanding. Tax less is not tax none. Not same-same. Tax less, spend lesser. Balance the budget, and maybe, just maybe, start paying off that $37 Trillion debt. Then reduce the $1 Trillion annual interest payment on the debt, and possibly start funding the $128 Trillion in unfunded liabilities. -

I'm sorry, bigly sorry for you, that the country from which you hail has a less-developed edumacation system than 'merka. Tax cuts don't "cost" the treasury anything. It's not the treasury's money to spend. -

That squatter in your cranium seems to have thrown the grey matter out with the bath water. That's only one side of the equation. Cut spending. Cut it now. Bigly. -

Tax cuts don't "cost" anything. It's less money being stolen from working 'merkans. -

US Charles Schwab Residency?

I must have asked that somewhere along the line, but I don't recall at the moment..... Fidelity does have beneficiaries, and the DIY Thai will should be acceptable, but additional work is required. If a US-based lawyer isn't handling probate, then the wife must do a final tax return and apply for a tax clearance certificate, which can take up to a year for the IRS to produce. As for Schwab, my account is mainly to pass gifts through to the wife, so shouldn't have much in the way of assets. My notes will have PW and ID, so she could simply use the standing order to transfer any cash to her account. She can either send a SWIFT from her account or we link to a Wise account for her. I haven't considered I might outlast, but I suppose I must prepare for that eventuality, as well.
