This is my point, builders with experience of similar types of house you'd like in rural thailand will be hard to find. Is there other homes that look like the one you want in that area you plan to build? -

Unlikely that'll turn out like the plans if a small local builder, they won't have the experience in that house type. Proceed with caution, your dream home might not end up as you hoped. -
How are you qualified to offer advice / support? Just coz you've read a few books?
