  3. Do you know the difference between Outlaws Thailand gang leader arrested.., and ‘Outlaws’ crushed in Pattaya... ? The key is in the use of quotation marks. There are outlaws and there are 'outlaws'.
  4. Thanks @roo860 for a positive post and I'm glad that you enjoyed yourself.
  5. But no mention of where the OP obtained the debilitating head wound.

  9. Country of adolescents. Forum of pomposity.
  10. Are you sitting comfortably? Let us begin... Over the years, five successful visa applications at VFS at their original location, as well as a couple at Trendy. Two successful passport renewals, received in a little over two weeks both times. Two successful first passports for my dual-nationality children, took a little over three weeks each time. My friend did a no-appointment, walk-in passport renewal application and subsequent collection at Trendy a couple of months back. Picked up the new one three weeks later. If you have issues with tying shoelaces, you can always try slip-ons.
  11. he's here again! you love me really don't you Now, now bob, don't get ahead of yourself. We haven't even been formally introduced yet. You'll need a chaperone on our first date.
  12. My experience at Bangkok Bank in Pattaya at the branch where my account resides, I offered the pink ID card for ID at a teller transaction. It has my face and Udon Thani address on it. She smiled sweetly, and politely declined, requesting my passport, which I didn't have with me. I offered my Thai DL which has my Udon Thani address and passport number on it and that was accepted. The only time my pink card has leveraged anything was when I was securing a car note (finance) but it was more belt-and-braces for the finance company than a mandatory requirement. Typical Thai bureaucracy where they simply wanted signed copies of as many things as possible that identified me.
  13. The key here is to try not to cheeze people off, no?
  14. I met this girl on Samui who was... oh wait. Duck.
  15. The evisceration of any lingering hopes for a red-shirt inspired renaissance.
  16. Will you still be whining on here once you're over there (if you ever do go)?
  17. In the meantime, there you are, still masturbating like there's no manana.
  18. Always a misunderstanding. Unless it's a brake failure.
  19. Woke... it's not just for farangs any more.
  20. With that Thai munter, looks like a bit of a yaa-bah, daba-do to me. PS: How do you say f#@k in Belgian?
  21. The place of residence of this out-of-touch teacher needs to be verified first, ie. renting, co-habiting, married and living together, etc.. Then ascertain if the local Amphur is farang-friendly as some still live in the dark ages. Off topic (bear with me) but if he's managed 20-odd years without one, why the need now? It does not confer much more than an additional proof of domicile, it is only accepted for official ID (sometimes) in the province of issue and does not guarantee preferential treatment or rates at government hospitals or national parks.
  22. What was he/she doing previously?
