I think I’m having a nervous breakdown.
Or who you or I are ! And we're not the one's soliciting advice on mental health issues either. My response was to augment another member's suggestion that blindly suggesting controlled substances as the solution to the problems of people they don't know is just plain dumb.

I think I’m having a nervous breakdown.
We're not supposed to feed them either.

I think I’m having a nervous breakdown.
Correct, we have absolutely no idea who the OP really is.

Ah, so you're NOT serious then. Thought so.

Pita To Be Given Second Chance For PM: Wan Noor
I started my career in Saudi Arabia and also did almost eight years in mainland China pre- Tienanmen whereupon I quit to go work in pre- Kuwait invasion Iraq. You cannot sell me on the benefits of socialism, despots or cults of personality. Having said that, one of the upsides of Saddam's reign was being able to freely buy and consume pork products, imported beers and dine, swim and play cricket at the British Embassy and party with the Irish nurses in Block 13 in the evenings. TBH, I was a bit miffed when Desert Storm kicked off.

Pita To Be Given Second Chance For PM: Wan Noor
Yes, my formerly lucrative consultancy business with certain Vietnamese government entities has been in limbo since before covid due to high-level corruption investigations against state elected or appointed officials, including two Deputy Prime Ministers. https://www.reuters.com/world/asia-pacific/vietnam-removes-two-deputy-pms-amid-anti-corruption-drive-2023-01-05/ Despite having the world's largest oil reserves, Venezuela is a failed petrostate due to the serial socialist disasters of Chávez and Maduro. Luckily, I made my business there before Chávez's Bolivarian Revolution milked the cow completely dry. https://www.cfr.org/backgrounder/venezuela-crisis

Pita To Be Given Second Chance For PM: Wan Noor
Good point. However, I recall a perception that they were too readily aligned with, or easily influenced by the military and ex-military parliamentarians and ministers. I'm not suggesting that Abhisit will be a tough act to follow, but Pita isn't the first well-spoken, foreign-educated and intelligent person to grace Thailand's political stage. The Thai people can be a tough audience, even the vast majority of them that have no links to the military or the palace.

Since the south has been historically the epicenter of Thai Democrat party support and elected parliamentarians, this is hardly remarkable.

Pita To Be Given Second Chance For PM: Wan Noor
Nope... under the current constitution, I can't see that listed as a legal requirement.

Pita To Be Given Second Chance For PM: Wan Noor
Are these actually planned or is it all a dream?

Cool your revolutionary jets. Under the current constitution, the military appointed senators term expires before next summer. No need to poke the bear. Plenty other issues are of far more immediate importance than curbing military powers and abolishing 112.

Problem with increasingly aggressive & violent wife
My ex-girlfriend took drugs at work with a guy she ended up marrying.

That's surprising because schizophrenia, when it is inherited (50% of cases), is almost always through the paternal lineage (90%). My fiancee was different.

Monkeypox outbreak: Thailand witnesses spike in cases within the LGBTQ+ community
A logical conclusion that is probably scientifically correct. When there' a national holiday here, you get the "7 days of death" on the highways and nobody is surprised. You have a one-month Pride party here, then nobody should be surprised, let alone horrified. I just hope that nobody latches on to the "dirty foreigner" aspect that your observation could suggest to the xenophobe.

Thai Mobile Banking Apps Crash On Payday, Transfers Put Off
The BB app went tits up on Saturday evening so I went online with the laptop and used their Bua Luang program instead. No big deal.

You forgot the "mai-mee wifi", get the store wi-fi from the cashier, get the password, type it wrong... twice... low-battery... shut-down... trek to ATM for cash...

Problem with increasingly aggressive & violent wife
Since it can still bit of a medical mystery and a facet of life "hidden in plain sight" when undiagnosed in western cultures, It's not too much of a stretch to consider that's it's just as prevalent in Thailand where mental healthcare is poor to non-existent. You have a point with drugs though. My former fiancee may have tried or been provided unknowingly with some designer drugs that were prevalent where we lived and worked back in the early 1990's. It was like one summer a switch had been flicked and her manageable manic moments became more interspersed with intense bouts of unmanageable paranoid schizophrenia. Her maternal grandmother was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia and eventually ended up in an insane asylum so her mum, although saddened and hurt, wasn't overly surprised. Back on topic: The op does need to enlist both legal and mental health professionals before his situation goes too badly wrong.

Problem with increasingly aggressive & violent wife
Bipolar would be my bet. Maybe a bit of schizophrenia in the mix? My former fiancee was blessed with both in spades. Luckily, her parents stepped up and despite her being an adult and living away from home, they came and took her home and into the care and support she desperately needed but I couldn't provide.

Gotcha, thanks.

AIS data-only package
OK, thanks for the clarification. I just checked my location for NT service using their online thingmabob (from the link https://wcsoss.totwbs.com/promotion provided earlier) and it says "Sorry, the area you selected is not available yet. The available area is 0.71 km from you." That broadly correlates with the map of coverage for NT Mobile coverage on https://www.nperf.com/en/map/TH/-/3379.TOT-Mobile/signal/?ll=17.405315277086004&lg=102.82005786895753&zoom=15 That ~700 meters suggests that if I'm not in black hole, the signal strength maybe isn't up to supporting Thunder's full capability in a fixed location, no?
