  1. He was a policeman on duty! He has a right to draw a firearm at any moment he considers it necessary! Did not you know it? P.S. Shake down? Give me all your money, it’s a robbery! Hehehe
  2. I am still waiting for anybody of those “whole-picturers” to present a plausible version which could justify the Kiwis’ behavior even in the slightest. The version that the Thai cop was a serial killer who got an idea to kill 2 innocent bikers on a sunny Phuket day is definitely not one of those.
  3. “The most idiotic tourist act in Thailand 2024” award definitely goes to New Zealand this year and its duo of 36 y.o. brothers (a.k.a “boys”). Sorry, Swiss guys, I know you did your best, but not this year. While beating the Thai women in Thailand was a very creative and brave idea, it is nothing compared to attacking the local policeman and disarming (!!!) him. That unbelievable disarming part by itself would deserve a Nobel prize in Stupidity (if one only existed).
  4. The only one explanation I can think of: they did not know he was a policeman. Just some weirdo guy in the Thai national costume and with a gun. Don’t think the judge will buy this, though.
  5. I would invite both parents to Thailand and then jail them too. Somebody should be made responsible for the upbringing of these two imbeciles.
  6. The worst type of gambling propaganda... The chances of winning are worse than in most other types of gambling.
  7. Thanks to God - no! Imagine what they could do to any of us. Raging maniacs!
  8. No, it means consuming a lot of spirits, almost all the time.
  9. I heard that in New Zealand they give an award to anybody attacking a policeman and especially to those who manage to get the policeman's weapon during the attack. Vastly different legal system!
  10. Or they will never leave Thailand again (also a possibility).
  11. OMG, it is becoming worse day by day. They will kick us all out one day. Who are these 2 clinical idiots? Look like adults but behave like 5 years old spoiled and very stupid children. Are those Tiktok generation’s representatives on their first visit abroad?
  12. Better Lao border. Had an awful experience at the Cambodian border a couple of times (on both sides of the border). And I never had any police records in my life.
  13. Well, as I wrote above, I am interested in a flashy, expensive-looking car. And these, as you probably know, are especially expensive in Thailand. The idea of buying a car for 50k usd is quite idiotic by itself, but to buy it for 100k+ is beyond any adequacy limit (unless one is pretty rich, which I am, unfortunately, not). So a used car is my only option. I have one more question. Do foreigners get any car loans in Thailand? Are there strict requirements?
  14. Can a car's true mileage be somehow compromised? Same question about the car's history: can a serious accident be hidden from the car's official history?
  15. Yes. But I have a six years driving experience (driving rental cars and also my former gf’s car).
  16. What Crypto currency do you keep in your cold storage? Are you a crypto-gambler who is ok with 20-30% monthly swings in value?
  17. If your account gets suspended - it will be up to Bitcub management to decide what to do with your funds. They may confiscate it for some reason or they may decide to send it to your bank account. Nobody can know this for sure.
  18. Best shortcut: become a THAI ladyboy. Become part of the THAI ladyboys's community. After all, they and you have a lot in common: you are people who don't want to be what they were naturally born. It is all about changing into something else. Good luck with your new friends!
  19. They would start producing electrical vehicles at the end of 19 (!!!) century if only they had batteries with proper capacity at the time. This is how "new" and "original" this whole electrical revolution is. From H.Ford's book (describing the end of 19 century period): "Practically no one had the remotest notion of the future of the internal combustion engine, while we were just on the edge of the great electrical development. As with every comparatively new idea, electricity was expected to do much more than we even now have any indication that it can do. I did not see the use of experimenting with electricity for my purposes. A road car could not run on a trolley even if trolley wires had been less expensive; no storage battery was in sight of a weight that was practical. An electrical car had of necessity to be limited in radius and to contain a large amount of motive machinery in proportion to the power exerted. That is not to say that I held or now hold electricity cheaply; we have not yet begun to use electricity. But it has its place, and the internal combustion engine has its place".
  20. I think the truth is in the middle: not a fad but, also, there is nothing truly revolutionary about it. Does it matter if one gets fast and almost effortlessly from point A to point B using petrol or electricity? The result is the same (it is something that was introduced to a wide public well over 100 years ago).
  21. The prices seem to be 10-20% higher than on one2car website. Is it worth it?
  22. I plan to buy a used car for around 50 k usd. A new one will cost at least 100 k and that is amount I don’t wish to pay for a car. I would definitely go for a new one if I wanted to buy a less luxurious brand.
