I was irritated to see another one of those tone deaf Instagram posts from a young fit healthy man, (not an essential worker, unless an IG influencer counts), getting his second jab at IconSIAM yesterday. The lack of sensitivity is breathtaking. (Sure, jump queues, use daddy's influence, but don't crow about it to your 50k followers.) And yes, he is not alone, but I think most have realised that this type of bragging is just not cool.

They could always try the one or two on the sub-continent itself, and save themselves the hassle of travel in Covid times, and that pesky quarantine thingy.

I think "A Police Hospital doctor" means he's a doctor who works at the Police Hospital, not that's he works for the police. As with all hospitals, doctors work at several, so I don't think I would read too much into the misleading opening of the article.

I live in a condo. Always have separate machines for washing & drying. Mine are both Samsung. I've only recently discovered the "wrinkle free" function on the dryer, which is handy as I fold most laundry since I went maidless in April because of the pandemic. Any experience I've had with a combo has not been a success. I want the laundry washed, dried and folded within a couple of hours, not hanging around (literally) for hours.

Indeed, why do vaccination numbers dwindle significantly on Saturdays and Sundays? Is there only one team at each centre, which has to work 5 out of 7 days, or do they have a large team, on a shift basis? It's not as though Covid takes the weekend off. I rang BNH yesterday, to speak to the vaccination centre..."closed Saturday & Sunday". Why?

There is no universality in what one was given at an inoculation. Mine simply has my name, time and date of next appointment: Or, you can pick them up for free at most pharmacies. In China, (which Thailand would like to emulate), this guy would be executed. In China they have to take out a few of the bad ones to show the people that they are seriously deserving of running and controlling the country. "Jo" is by no means the big fish, and again, in China, they go after a few of the big fish too. The Thais haven't quite grasped that tenet in the emulation process. I am not in favour of capital punishment, but I think it's a concept that might have significant impact on the Thai psyche, and clearly the RTP is in dire straits.
