  1. Ok snowflake you don't hero worship the thug then, you think he's a nice guy just because you met him backstage, where they are all nice, despite him being convicted before of attacking women and now sentenced to three years. You, like others, think that's somehow excusable as he has been a successful musician and it's kind of acceptable because he's a rock musician so drugs, violence and mental issues are somehow expected. You loath foreigners who like real Thai music- you don't have to try and be Thai, just open your ears, you should try it sometime, you would end up meeting far nicer people than Loso, who just ended his career and who has been a bad example for Thai youth for most of his career. 'I have been here 30 years' lol another one who thinks it's a competition, I have been here a bit longer than that. Thai culture, you don't seem to have learned much about it in that time, you come across as an angry, arrogant old man incapable of accepting other peoples opinions. I prefer luktung to morlam, if that's not trying to be Thai.
  2. Trump has nothing to do with this convicted thug, his musical abilities are not involved either. Very few Thai musicians are involved with drugs, Loso was a perfect name to take on. I know a lot more about him than you do, who saw him 'a couple of times'.

  11. BBC the home of pedophiles, anti semitism and communist infiltration
  12. Touchy sort you are, you can't abide somebody else's opinion. I have met literally hundreds of Thai performers back stage, they are always 'nice' it's part of Thai music culture. I could never be with somebody that liked different music, bet you are not still together 😊
  13. So what were you doing backstage to see a performer of music you did not even like? His later transgressions were not 'later' they have continued through out is troubled life resulting in this latest prison sentence. I know for a fact from other Grammy artists he was considered a prima donna and difficult to appear with. I will leave you with your superficial impressions of your back stage encounters.
  14. You said he was a nice guy, on what evidence, guitar skills? Did not realise you were a a poster who was authorised to tell others what they can say. People are too fond of excusing performers defects and crimes just because they have had some success. He is definitely not a nice guy, despite being talented.
  15. Why hero worship a man who has attacked women, a hard drug user and thug just because they can play the guitar and sing after a fashion? He is not a nice guy, if he had been he would not be where he is now. Performed all over the world, hardly, but at the Lincoln centre in New York in 2006 hit another performer on the head with a shoe, very disrespectful. He has serious mental, emotional and drug issues that need sorting out, his wife did try. Lets hope prison helps him work his problems out.
  16. So the police are happy to let the kid keep on riding illegally then?
  17. Considering his violent past, not just in this case they had little option but to jail him. 18. Did she have time to get pregnant as well? thats the usual ploy when caught
  19. Over 100 concerts some years. Carabao went to be educated in the Philippines, his dad was actually a luktung band manager and family middle class, from Suphanburi, home of many early luktung singers. Singers are judged in part by their conduct and attitudes, those who knock women about, take drugs and get involved in crime are not generally liked, even though the music may be popular. Such such is the case here, IMO.
  20. Yet we are continually informed on here by visa users that the process is all legal, if it were they would be able to switch to DIY.
  21. So you just contest the actual amount in these payments?
  22. No idea? been been a Thai music fan for over 30 years and been to over 1200 concerts in Thailand must have posted over 100 times about Thai music on here. Carabao was a yellow shirt not an actual social rebel, that was just posing, when did he run away in exile? He was always establishment and a Prayut supporter who he referred to as his brother. Tata young started at the top with a million selling album, then worked her way down. She became more unpopular as time went on for her attitude, weaker material and 'charity' work, there is no evidence the establishment hated her at all and her name had nothing to do with her decline. If foreign names were disadvantage why did Jonas Anderson and Christy Gibson never have any problems with thier names? Christy had several awards for services to Thai culture, language and music. But then she had a different attitude to Tata. The whole notion of phua cheewit and rock singers championing the rights and aspirations of the working class is largely not true after the early days with bands like caravan. Luktung has been the genre which gave the working class some pride and identity, reflecting their struggles hopes and problems more than any other genre. If you think multi millionaire phua cheewit performers give a toss about the working class you are the one who has no idea.
  23. Amazing all these sudden Thai music fans on here, who never post a thing about it until somebody dies or gets prison 😁
