Seems a bit over the top, could be construed as sarcastic. He's seen smoking a large joint, and showing his ignorance about a great king, just dumb all round. -

Wife did that two weeks ago, three days in a forest temple. Did not feel the urge to go and start screwing possibly diseased prostitutes, rather have a good dump. -
I never get out of a taxi before paying, it's easier to grab them round the throat if there's any skullduggery 😄

Palestinians have been offered their own land many times since the 1930's they always said no as it involved the existence of Israel. Jews have been there for over 3k years, and even the Quran says God gave the children of Israel the land. The Quran never mentions Palestine but does Israel over 40 times. Arabs live their life with dignity and peace in Israel where 18% of the population are Arabs. Arabs are actually the colonizers in the area and the middle east is about 98% muslim, the problem is they want it all for themselves, as they historically hate Jews.

Frozen pension policy turns British expat's dream into a nightmare
proton replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Key facts. The 'Old Age Pension' was introduced in the UK in January 1909. A pension of 5 shillings per week, or 7 shillings and sixpence for a married couple, was payable to a person with an income below £21 a year. The original state pension qualifying age was 70, and was subject to a means test.. -

Thai Airways Faces Backlash Over Business-Class Seat Fiasco
proton replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
in 2007 bought a one way ticket UK- BKK, I had a visa. After buying it TG sent an email saying I would not be allowed entry with a one way ticket. They would not respond to emails asking why not and never answered the phone. Had to go all the way to London, Abermarle st office. No other customers there, phone ringing not answered, they did not know. They had to call Heathrow TG staff who said no problem, when asked about the email they claimed the rules must have been changed. Incompetent, lazy and infuriating -

That does sound like hell, I would have had a drink in my hand while he was doing it! Odd how a husband can turn up with veiled women behind him, hand over their passports and get waved through with nobody asking to see their faces. -

My seat would not recline on Qatar business class, how ever that was the last thing I would have complained about, there was quite a list!
