    It's in Thai, when have you seen a case where it was not enforced and not via and agent? You must provide the correct address to Thai Immigration when you are in Thailand. The address at which you reside must be the same as the one you gave to immigration. Failing to do this will result in a penalty to a maximum of 5,000 Baht or 200 Baht a day for everyday until your notification has been corrected.

    Often an agent will have no corrupt officials they can bribe at your office in your province, so have to go to another province. The law states yo have to apply for an extension from the province you live in. Up to you if you think that will be legal.

    Yes it's protectionism to support the big boys. Had an on site brewed IPA at 8% in Samut Prakan last week which I would have sworn was by Fullers in London, fantastic beer. But 250 baht for half a pint was more than you would pay in London

    Ya dong is lao khao diluted with added ingredients, see them selling it on stalls every day by the roadside and in markets. It does vary in strength and most sellers will have a least 2 types.
