I always get an extension to stay based on retirement from 23 June each year. Last year I went in to do the extension on the 15th. On the 20th I had a new bank book and that shows over one million all the time since then. Take it into immigration to extend this year thinking as the book shows over 800k from 20th last year and this is ok for the extension this year. No say immigration you have to show proof of the money in the bank from the date you extended last year, the 15th. Is this correct? I thought it was 23-23 and not from the date you renew.

Yeah copy all your old pass ports bank books and print out all your 90 day reports you never know! Last year they did want 90 day report slips, this year not. Just off again.

I did that before many years ago an IO demanded all pages done even the blanks. Next year I took them all in as requested and the IO accused me of wasting his time as he had to go through them taking out 5 and giving me the rest back. I am all for abiding by the rules, I just wish they were.
