I'm finding Wise from the UK very 'hit and miss' at the moment. Maybe a month ago transferred around 100k baht to my Kasikorn account and took nearly 5 days to arrive. I have subsequently made 2 transfers of very similar amounts and arrived in under 15 seconds. Some say 'reason for transfer' makes a difference. Also, some suggest not sending on a Friday as it won't arrive until Monday or Tuesday. Another issue (although not important to myself) is even if I put the reason as 'Long term stay' it does not appear in my bank book as an international transer. It shows as local transfer. No definitive answer from myself as to the problem I'm afraid. I will stick with them for now though as the issues aren't a deal breaker for myself.

Pro rata that would have been well above the national average wage at the time. Plus the NI contributions plus guaranteed government pension entitlement.

I prefer the new look on my phone but not on my laptop. Also, the 'go to page ' function is not working on my phone. I'm having to do next, next etc. Probably my phone though. Overall though, I think it's an improvement.

Because it is a vast improvement on being in the UK.

Do you have any American friends? Can't you just record one of them speaking 'normally' and use that as your ringtone? That should do the trick...

Currently, we do not know why he was found in this state. Was it of his own making? Was he spiked? Was he attacked? We don't know. Does this make him better or worse than your fellow countrymen who were recently arrested and accused of fraud but had most certainly committed a crime by overstaying their visas? They are super concentrated. Each squash is only 66ml. You need very little in a bottle or glass of water. You should get around 12-15 600ml bottles of water out of one squash - maybe more depending on how diluted you like it. I always bring a supply from the UK each time I'm over. I get them 2 for £3.25 in the UK, around 135 baht. They do orange, lemon/lime, summer fruits, apple/blackcurrant and a passion fruit one. The latter two are my favourites. Being so concentrated, they don't take up too much room in your luggage.

Perhaps they were wearing black and white stripey jumpers, had strings of onions around their necks, smelt of garlic and had handlebar moustaches....

I believe that has come down in price from when my friend looked around 6 weeks ago. He has paid £740 return with Thai Air (which seemed a good deal). Not sure of his exact dates but has slightly more flexibility with Thai as they fly twice per day, every day from Heathrow. BA are only one flight, 3 days per week? Did you happen to notice the departure time from Gatwick? My friend likes a morning departure UK time, I prefer the evening personally.

10% rental yield is very good. What would your costs as owner be out of the 25k per month rental income if you don't mind me asking?

My friend looked recently for flights leaving end of November returning to UK near the end of January. Economy both ways. BA from Gatwick was nearly £500 more expensive than similar flight with Thai Air from Heathrow. I always use EVA from Heathrow myself. Flew from London last Friday night and actually got a free upgrade at the boarding gate as the flight was full. That hasn't happened for a long time. Have EVA gold card though and travelling alone so that was probably why. Was a pleasant surprise.

I arrived at Suvarnabhumi Saturday afternoon, around 3.30pm. I was expecting it to be very busy but only 3 people in front of me in the immigration queue. No questions asked, stamped in for 60 days visa exempt. One of the first bags to arrive on the baggage carousel. Probably 30 minutes in total from disembarking to strolling through customs. Very happy indeed.

If you do bet builders, use Paddy's if you can as they roll your bet on to the substitute who comes on for a player. Not aware of any other bookie doing this so your bet dies when they go off. Bet 365 are more generous though for the odds on player shots, shots on target and fouls committed. Gives a bit of interest to a game and there is a bit of success to be had. Plenty of websites to give you the stats on yellow cards, shots etc. 👍

I've just seen a headline on BBC sport with Ruud saying Man utd could be unstoppable. I'll have a pint of whatever he's drinking. Roy Keane in the mix though would be interesting 🤔 they'd probably have to play the second half with about 8 players though after he's kicked the $hite out of everyone at halftime. I'm a Tottenham boy myself and got City tonight in the 'two bob' cup.
