  1. That is like comparing apples with a steam train. Not even remotely similar.
  2. Looks like somebody stole a "y" from yourself.... 555
  3. I remember once seeing Glitter on Jim'll Fix It, Saturday teatime when I was a kid. Only need Rolf Harris to turn with his didgereedoo and you would have had the (un)Holy Trinity. I bet a few of the kids are still having nightmares after that episode.
  4. Do you want to be in my gang? Errr, no thanks, I'll give that a swerve....
  5. If you say the last three quickly, it sounds like somewhere I visited once in Scotland.
  6. So the Thai police who arranged the sting utilised the service of a non Thai to facilitate the purchase? You stated that he didn't sell to Thais. But he could have been selling to a Thai as part of this sting? And may have well done so in the past as to not find it strange that he suddenly had a Thai customer?
  7. Wonder if it is linked to the Kinahan family empire? Members of that family based in Dubai. Some interesting documentaries about them on various platforms including BBC iPlayer. The main man is big into his boxing and was linked to Tyson Fury but I think Fury has subsequently distanced himself after certain stories have hit the media.
  8. It would seem that the firearm was found at his residence, not on his person at the time of arrest. Still waiting for @Liverpool Lou to come back and comment on the nationality of the undercover officer.
  9. Could you elaborate on which nationality the purchaser was on the sting operation arranged by RTP? I may well be missing something and it wouldn't be the first time.
  10. If you spotted a large Toblerone at that price in KP then you did very well. Their chocolate prices are astronomical! Ciggies and baccy prices are still good compared to the UK but have increased dramatically over the last couple of years. Probably still cheaper to buy Golden Virginia outside of Duty Free IF you can find it. I bought some Drum tobacco from KP last year for a mate. He said it was mainly twigs and sweepings and asked me not to bother next time even though it was free!
  11. I still prefer to use cash for the majority of day to day purchases. I normally have around 50k baht kicking around as ready cash. Mrs knows where it is and when she goes shopping just goes to the 'pot' for what she needs plus a little extra just in case. When she comes back the change (if any) goes back where it came from. Larger purchases we discuss and agree on a budget. We just spent over 50k baht on a new bed/mattress. She was happy with a cheaper one but I knew it wouldn't do my back any favours so I made the final call. The bulk of the money is originally mine but I don't see it like that. We are a partnership so the money is ours. We trust each other and have never knowingly let each other down and that is good enough for me.
  12. Yes, my bad. I initially thought you had posted a 2 month comparison which wouldn't haven't been a fair picture.
  13. Delete. Apologies, didn't read the months you quoted accurately.
  14. They do say that if seafood smells of seafood then it's probably past it's best. Shouldn't really smell of anything if it's super fresh. I do try and avoid the places where the seafood is out on display ON TOP of ice. Understand why they do it but I try and swerve it.
  15. Perhaps word got around you were in town and they did it on purpose. Just a thought... Seems you are pretty unlucky with your dining experiences otherwise.
  16. XXX is giving you a friendly kiss. Like what someone may use when signing a birthday or Christmas card. The 'A' is them telling you they think you are an Ahole.
  17. She's the same height as Ant n Dec combined.
  18. Probably none. I doubt many children here go around buying grammes of coke. Then of course one of them would have to die.
  19. Time for bed Malky boy. You are getting abusive now. One VB too many? That's the weak pi$$ you Aussie bogans drink isn't it?
  20. Ha ha. Can't show that in the UK anymore - very un PC. Luckily, I have it on DVD (just waiting for the Luddite/Grandad comments) so can watch at my leisure. Have certainly seen far worse than Matt Lucas dressed up in most of the major flesh pots of Thailand.
  21. I want to agree but how is it possible to agree to a comment regarding a clearly made up story? That would just be foolish....
  22. Yet you bite every time Richard and Malky boy, the old Aussie bogan pretending to be a Brit, is sitting there, chuckling to himself uncontrollably as he has reeled you in yet again. I truly applaud your constant rebuttals 👋 I just wish I had your determination, vocabulary and passion. But I don't. However, I do enjoy your bickering. It's hard to pick a winner. Normally it's deuce when I run out of steam.
  23. A hardy lot us Brits. Not too many other nationalities prepared to be buggered in a park in sub zero temperatures. Makes you proud to be British 🇬🇧
  24. Great sentiment but not going to happen. Firstly, trying to find them (normally off to another province within minutes of hearing the news regarding the 'impending arrival). Secondly, you think these feckless wastrels have spare cash to support a sprog? You cannot get blood from a stone. I totally agree it's sad but really can't for the life of me fathom a solution. It's been happening since God was a boy and will continue to happen.
