For those in Chiang Mai, there is a great shop near the Thapae Gate end of Ratvithi Road (same side of road as UNIrish pub). Think it is called Meat and Cheese. Specialises in toasted cheese sourdough sandwiches with optional additional fillings. They really are pretty good. Also sell the sourdough loaves.

Don't worry. I take it all at face value and share very, very few (if any) of the same opinions. Mild amusement is mostly what I glean from the threads.

I once followed a guy around in Tops, Central Festival in Chaweng (Samui) for 15 minutes as he had snaffled the last scotch egg from the deli counter. Took 15 minutes of stalking but I swiped it from his basket when he was getting his veg. Wasn't proud of myself and it wasn't even that great but needs must.

Totally agree, all harmless banter. Never knowingly malicious. Keeps me amused when I'm bored.

My brother was a tattooist in the UK. He was living very close to Mildenhall in Suffolk which has a US Air Force base. He specialised in cover ups. Constantly busy with Amercians coming in from the base to have dodgy tats covered over which they had inked in various parts of the world (very often when they had been out having a night on the turps). He could charge top dollar and made a very good living from it.

Normally, I give Bob the benefit of the doubt due to my kind nature.... Basically, you said hello and thank you in Thai. Same as anyone 10 minutes off the plane on their first trip to Thailand can do. Unless I've just shat myself, I can smell BS on this one.
