Soi 6 beatdown
Surely you don't think that anyone as clearly bigoted as he (Vangrop) is, is going to need such a thing as evidence to spout his unsubstantiated drivel? I think you are way overestimating his intelligence.

National Service in the UK. Good idea or never get off the ground
Today's snowflakes will be outraged that anyone can tell them what to do and most likely burst into tears the first time that anyone in a position of authority shouts at them. As many have pointed out above, the Tories will be smashed out of sight on the 4th July so this proposal will never get off the ground.

Singapore turbulent flight: Aussie survivor’s desperate plea
Yes it would if negligence could be proven. That is the main essence in having Public Liability insurance. I agree that regardless of negligence, the airline will honour it's obligations. If they didn't, the bad press could be very damaging.

I was quoted 100k to remove a hemorrhoid. Outrageous.
I think that it is reflective of the increasing Thai private healthcare costs that some travel Insurers are now including Thailand alongside USA/Canada when choosing the geographical requirements of your policy, i.e. worldwide (including/excluding USA/Canada/Thailand). Still plenty of policies that aren't lumping Thailand in with the USA/Canada but I recently renewed my annual travel cover and looked at a large number of options. Getting back to the OP's original question, I'll do it privately for 1k THB.....

Singapore turbulent flight: Aussie survivor’s desperate plea
Why would the airlines 3rd party insurance pick up the tab if there was no negligence on the airlines part? I'm sure their Insurers would have something to say about this 'open cheque book' approach. Perhaps, there was some negligence - would certainly need to be proven though. The airline might be suffering some large payouts from their own (deep) pockets at their own discretion.

Beloved Brit found dead in Thailand hotel room
Thanks for clarifying. I suppose it's not really an issue when landing as the descent is 'flat' as opposed to a climb when taking off. That snippet of info you provided would warrant a place on the TV program QI. 👍

Can Durian kill you when you drink alcohol?
Can Durian kill you when you drink alcohol? I suppose, if drunk and you got into an argument and someone twatted you around the head with one, then the answer would be a resounding Yes.

How is your weekend going?
Thanks for that - if you do notice that they are still there or have moved please do let me know. Thank you.

Beloved Brit found dead in Thailand hotel room
Wow - learn something new every day. May I ask how you know such specific information? I can't imagine many people outside of the undertaking world knowing such a fact. Genuinely interested.

How is your weekend going?
Thanks for that. Have you ever tried House of Paella in Nimman (think it's soi 12 or 13) and if so, is it worth a visit?

How is your weekend going?
Thanks BMT - I'll give it a try.

What documents are required to open a cannabis dispensary in Thailand?
Possibly an AI generated new OP (along with a couple of others recently). Seems that this site is desperate for new members and is having to resort to this. The wording of these recent topics is very 'robotic'.

How is your weekend going?
Cheers - I'll give it a try. Few beers at the Hangout bar then a curry.

How is your weekend going?
Can you recommend a good Indian restaurant for when I am in Chiang Mai next month? I do recall you previously mentioning that one on Loy Kroh Road was pretty good. Is it the one on the other side of the road from the bar complex, up near the night market? (Think you cross a very small bridge just before you get there, name of the restaurant escapes me).

Why do I always get dandruff after a few weeks of being in Thailand?
My Mrs has no problem with dandruff when staying home in the North and not using aircon. However, if we go away and spend a month or two in an apartment then she regularly suffers from dandruff. I suspected it may be down to my heavy use of the aircon and I think this supports my suspicions.

Living Year Around in the South - I don't get it
Such a terrible place yet you still stayed for a few months.........

Anyone run into this Notification from Chonburi Immigration?
Off the topic a bit. I assume that you do not have too long left on your passport validity before renewal is required. No issues at any stage of the journey returning to Thailand regarding the expiration date eg less than 6 months etc?

Aussie Woman Reveals Harrowing Tales from Infamous Thai Prison
Anyone who has been outsmarted by an Aussie must be extremely dim indeed.

Why are fares more expensive for foreigners in Thailand?
Your post isn't a true reflection of what is being discussed here. Your examples are, in the main, all fixed rate modes of transport (other than possibly the tuktuk). There isn't really the option to be fare gouged on public transport.

For those of you paying a salary
Those 4 would cost at least 15,000 per month each and that's just for donuts.

My little contribution to forum guidelines
Agree. I've had posts deleted before and when going back to that topic shortly after, it always seems to be the same Mod who is lurking/overseeing that thread. Perhaps they can have it in for certain OP's?.....
