  1. Apparently not. You will have to look elsewhere for your "fix" you miscreant.
  2. Couldn't possibly confirm or deny.........................
  3. If it's a Brit, might be the chap who ran off with your Mrs.
  4. I'll do it for $150 then I can use the fee to purchase some modern equipment.
  5. I've previously used passport page to satisfy this particular request when applying for SETV.
  6. You're way off the mark today with your comparisons bignok.
  7. You got lucky there. 👍 I return to Thailand on the evening of the 24th after a couple of months away. Looks like I'm going to have to wait until the 25th for my first cold one. Enjoy your birthday.
  8. Laab moo or laab gai is my favourite Thai dish but Isaan style rather than Northern style (which my GF eats regularly). The only time I ate it raw was Isaan style in Udon containing raw beef/buffalo. I can't say that I enjoyed it.
  9. I think someone is probably trying to poison you after viewing your threads on AN. I would be extremely careful if I were you.
  10. As I understand it, the bars (and similar) should be closed from midnight Friday 23rd until midnight Saturday 24th. Alcohol sales are not allowed on Saturday 24th. Monday 26th will be a holiday in lieu (as the 24th is a Saturday). However, alcohol sales are permissible on Monday 26th.
  11. Why? If the proposal becomes reality, somebody staying 2 weeks will be stamped in for 90 days the same as somebody staying 75 or 90 days. How are they going to police how much disposable money you have to hand?
  12. I'm a frequent visitor when in London. I grab a couple of smoked salmon and cream cheese also. The shop you have shown is so much better than the "Beigel Shop" which is next door but one. Below link might be of interest if you are hankering for a salt beef beigel whilst in Thailand. Haven't tried it myself yet though. Believe it's Pattaya based but offers postal service. https://www.dropbox.com/s/4mcvko3hhranw2m/London Beigel and Salt Bar Menu November 2023.pdf?dl=0&utm_source=+Feb+2022+London+Beigel+and+Salt+beef+Bar+menu
  13. I thought you were 48 and never married bignok?
  14. But we all know who you are bignok......
  15. On returning to Suvarnabhumi from Laos recently with my Thai GF I was steered towards the Thai passport lane with her. I wasn't actively looking to take this route but it certainly saved some time. May also depend on your age. If you are an elderly gentleman you may get away with it (or steered towards the fast track). I'm only mid 50's (and look around this age) so it wasn't down to me being elderly.
  16. I use EVA for LHR-BKK-LHR around 4 times per year. Usually Elite class (premium economy). The prices have increased significantly since Covid but are still very favourable compared to Thai Air. I had to use Thai Air in June 22 as EVA had still not resumed flying this route post Covid. Awful experience and the ticket price for economy was in excess of what I had been paying for EVA premium economy. One of the great things when booking with EVA is you can mix and match which class you fly over the two legs (and request upgrades redeeming miles depending on fare type). I have previously flown LHR-BKK in economy (luckily get priority free seat choice due to EVA/Star Alliance gold card). As the flight departs around 9.30pm quite happy to get the front row window seat in economy, couple of beers and sleep for most of the journey. I then travel the BKK-LHR leg in Elite or Royal Laurel as it is a lunchtime departure and I am unlikely to sleep. Even EVA are not as good as they were maybe 5 or 10 years ago but still streets ahead of Thai.
  17. I would not be in the least bit surprised if England get battered in the next 4 tests. It's just nice to be able to crow about a victory, however briefly..... Great stats by the way I used to go and see Lever play for Essex in the 1980's.
  18. Just been watching the cricket. England beat India in India by 28 runs in an unlikely victory. Arguably, the hardest place to go and win a test. Australia lost at home to West indies. West Indies hadn't won a test in Australia for 27 years! Australia totally capitulated from 113-2 to 207 all out and lost by 8 runs.
  19. Isn't it spelt Uttaradit bignok?
  20. Yes, but you didn't bother responding at the time, did you? Just thought that I would clear that little mystery up. You are welcome.
  21. If I am not mistaken, that is a currywurst.
  22. Interesting. Never thought of it from that angle. Maybe drumming up a bit of anti west propaganda for the homeland. They can then put whatever spin they like on it when presenting to the masses.
  23. I think the correct name for them is American....
  24. You've got some front, I'll give you that! You have the audacity to make the above comment whilst previously posting that you think Lipton's passes as tea.
