My wife got a SMS text from my 14 y/o son's international school today stating if we want him to get the Pfizer vax we need to add his name to list, name added ????. Are the paid international schools getting Pfizer and the free government schools getting Sinopharm?

The OP asked about my thoughts of the recommendation by Thai authority..., I'm from the US and even though my family and I currently live in Thailand, I'll take the recommendations from the CDC over the Thais, luckily they both say the same thing, people 12 years and old should get vaxed.

"Why only unvaccinated kids need to show this as the vaccinated can also catch and spread it. It's implying that if you have the vaccine you're immune to Covid." I don't take it as implying someone is immune to Covid, everyone knows you can still catch Covid if vaxed. I take it as those unvaccinated are likely to get sicker that those already vaxed and need to be monitored a little more closely.

I agree to a point, but a long time ago there were MANY MANY unvaccinated and giving an open green light of "first come first served, no appt needed" would only cause mass crowding, frustration, confusion, and more complaints from the dammed if they/dammed if they don't types. I hope someone can give feedback on how today's no appointment needed experience went.
