If you want to live like britman than 60k is definitely enough. My 43 year old Thai wife makes 70-80k a month which is the lowest salary among her friends. As a Thai citizen she also has 3 insurance policies, social insurance, 30 baht scheme and the convenience of not begging for the visa to stay. If you want to live much worse mid class Thai woman than enjoy Thailand.
