    Last time I was in a China airport it was all but vacant. Honestly looked like an overbuilt ghost town. But, of course Thailand has to copy China. Same with the new EU visa's. China is courting the EU for trade and Thailand is in step with china. Nothing new here.

    Cannot change spots on a leopard. Look at Thaksin and his family's history. This is not going to end well for the common Thai people. They can just wait now for the next hammer to drop.. Only question now is how , where , and when.

    These business ownerships have never been legal. Just tolerated. Throw a few bucks into the mix and poof. As Thailand's economy goes into the toilet. This will ramp up. Just simple math. Thailand holds all the cards. Fun to play in from time to time that's it.

    Funny, an ex long term GF of mine is begging me to come get her and take her out of Thailand. Or move back and take her to a better place in Thailand for some relief. Had a video talk with her and she and the family were suffering from the heat and air pollution. I feel for anyone stuck in that mess. I cannot think of a more horrible place to live.

    Problem is most expats don't know this is happening. The Thai Slopiganda machine and Youtube shills are pumping out blue sky and heaven on earth. Give me your 800,000K, Give me your Elite over priced visas, Sell me a home that is never mine, make me report every 90 days, make me update my visa every year. And in return what do you get, choke to death on the polluted air and disgusting beaches.. The sharad is up Thailand.

    Thailand is just a lost soul at this point. Heat waves that will continue, pollution affecting millions and killing many thousands a year. Yeah, sign me up for that.

    Thailand bet 100% on China taking over the world.. haha. Now it has no alternative but to do all it can to attract them. With China's economy imploding at an exponential rate. Thailand has burnt its bridges. Fade away slowly. Thailand and China will fade away holding hands and blaming the West for all it's problems as usual..

    About 4 years ago. Was back last year for a few months. Until the pollution got to bad. I still come back occasionally. Just to visit friends. But, let's face it. It's a shi$$ hole now.. This time of the year.
