Written by Thai's that think Thailand is the center of the universe, or by foreigners that live there and don't have a clue what they are talking about, but convinced that Thailand is the center of the universe... hahahaha. Terrible, I was on a bus from BKK to Southern Thailand a few years ago. The driver was insane, driving so fast and reckless. When the bus stopped one Thai lady came down and started hitting the driver and the rest of us did not get back on the bus.

Must of been a pretty likable fellow.

Rented a motorcycle in Chiang Mai. Paid one month in advance and not one question asked. Rode up to Pai, Chiang Rai all over. No problems. Vietnam was the same. Rented a motorcycle there and rode to the Chinese border just having fun. 20 years ago.

I lived there for years, believe me it is a real thing. Miserable life with the air pollution. It's a fact it kills 20-30 thousand people a year.

Just keeps getting better all the time.

I lived in Pai for a while many, many years ago. About the time they started bringing in outside agents to target the tourists. Now with pot being legalized looks like it is a European frat house atmosphere. Thai rip offs and cons in Pai were always ramped in Pai. Hippy drug culture of years gone by taken over by greedy Thai's. Pai has been doing this kind of stuff for decades. Same old story different venue. 10-1 these guys were coming in to cash in on the European kids and the drug culture in Pai. And to get high in the process. Thai musicians are probably flocking to Pai for the bucks they make on the Euro kids. These guys show up and upset the apple cart. Thai musicians are pissed that they come in and are taking away their cash cow.

Just seeing that makes me shutter, lived with it there for years. It is nothing short of horrible.

Another one I heard all the years living there was, all she wanted is a man that treats here good. I treat her and her family so good "she would never do anything to muck it up". I am building this guest house and home for us. It never ends.
