Bought a Siemens air fryer a few days back from Lazada for just over a 1000 Baht. The manufactures name does not appear on the product or the instructions paperwork, Works OK though. Even better was the Redmi Note 13 phone I bought, again no mention of Xiaomi anywhere, just the word Smartphone on the white box, well again for 1K Baht what do you expect.....

The Nissan dealership in Bung Sam Phan (Phetchabun) has closed. It was a fairly large dealership but I think it did not sell many vehicles. I bought a two door Navara in 2007, had a decent engine but build quality a bit ropy. Lots of squeaking and rattles. For under 8K GBP couldn't really moan too much....... BSP still has Toyota and Isuzu dealers. and there's lots of repair/servicing outlets around.

Wise transfers from home country are quick, its the Thai end that causes delay. Initiate a transfer early Friday morning and Wise respond with transfer on the way. Money not in BBL account by close of play and contact Wise. They say problem is with the Thai banks. Money went in Monday 2pm. Lesson learnt, do transfers earlier in the week.

I'm pretty handy with eggs, scrambled, poached, fried or boiled & omelettes . Every few weeks I make a large Yorkshire pudding (eggs/flour/milk/pinch salt) to remind myself of home.....

Just bought an Ipad and it comes with 3 months free Apple TV. After that it is 249 Baht a month. What are folks opinions on it?. It appears to have some fairly decent movies. Alternatively what about Netflix Thailand?, or any other recommendations.

Surely only required if you spend more than 90 days here?? I know someone who spends his retirement between London, Dubai and Thailand. He has a multi re-entry permit. Lucky dude.......
