  1. Had no beers for 3 years I drink red wine
  2. Can you make home brew in Thailand? The 1950 Liquor Act states beer can only be made in a factory or brewpub. A 2000 Finance Ministry regulation says for producers to gain legal status, they must make more than 100,000 liters per year and be a limited company with capital of at least 10 million baht.
  3. I did this every 3 months but that was years ago I don't know the rules today
  4. Yes it is but normally it is very cheap anyway I never been a Thai basher all my life and yes I lived in Thailand many years but I do need to report things
  5. Adding to that I am 75 years old I can't buy any car let alone an electric one can't even get a credid card
  6. I live in OZ in the west and winter is over now, I am not in Europe or US our spring starts in September and no I don't have a heater and never used a fan last summer when we had a heatwave and have not paid electricity for a long time because we still have it for free because of the pandemic. Don't believe me? I can send you a copy of my last bill. But I must mentioned I get subsidized by the government which I would not get in Thailand. I paid more on electricity in Thailand then I pay now, so I am not here to argue just stating the facts . And yes the cost of eletricty in the east of Australia is huge we all know that but is is your choice if you like to live there but I am happy to live in WA since about 40 years plus a few years in Thailand
  7. no need to join the club I posted before many times
  8. Hahaha I live in the west it's get a bit cold in winter and I don't have a heater in my car
  9. Is that so, I live in the expensive west as you call it, just got over winter and I used 268 KW for the period of 61 days and no I don't have a heater but I cook on electricity and hot water is also from electric system and I have no solar because I am renting can you beat that?
  10. That was my good experience with Thai but I also had a bad experience with them 2 days before I lined up at the check in pretty early but there was already a long cue so I waited passionately till the lady with a sign indicating my flight approached us and indicated to us to move to another line so we all did but there was even more people in that line so I had no choice to wait and wait and wait and by the time I got to the counter to check in only beeing told it was to late to check in, so I had to re book the flight for 2 days later paid extra and book in to a hotel at my cost for 2 days. But I guess that was the fault of one person can't really blame Thai for that
  11. I did requestet this in Australia and nothing happen on the other end in Bangkok so on the way back I talked to the lady on the check in counter and had a wheel chair in 10 minutes. Fantastic service got wheeled right to the entry of the plane. No waiting at custems, right thru fast lane and there is flights after the 29th of October it has not stopped on that date since I checked for May next year again.
  12. No only lady (Boys)????
  13. I agree Thai cuisine is very much overrated I prefere a nice Indian curry or Chinese food
  14. Can I rollerblade on the road? You can roller skate on the road. But your safety should come first! Roller skating on the roads can be risky because of busy traffic and unfriendly skating surface like potholes. This can also wear out your roller skate wheels in no time Is a helmet required for rollerblading? No, you don't have to wear a helmet while on a skateboard, rollerblade or roller-skate, but it's still a good idea. There are also some other laws about riding skateboards, rollerblades and roller-skates: You must keep to the left of a footpath or shared path unless it is impractical to do so
