It was reported that the ocean water near the beach turned to a hazy yellow as swimmers frantically swam to shore after spotting the beast.

"Natalina Chernova said that she had put US $16,000 in her safe"....... The RTP just stated last week that they were no longer going to divulge the nationality of people in criminal investigations and here they are giving the names as well. I referred to the RTP as the Keystone Cops in the past. That was wrong of me. The RTP is FAR more comical.

That's odd. I must have had over 20 addresses before I retired (job movement) and they didn't question that at all. I went into a local branch when I first applied for SS and was amazed at how quickly I was out of there. I think you should attempt to open a My SSA acct. It will save you headaches down the road. First, call them at 1-800-772-1213 and explain your situation so you know all the info you'll need to open the acct. Otherwise, a trip back home might be a good idea to do all of this in person. Another thought is to ask your credit union to transfer the deposit to a new acct automatically upon receipt until you get things resolved. Either that or leave the acct open and tell them to block any transactions other than your ATM withdrawals from Thailand.

""People don't get assassinated for nothing".... Not true. It happens every day all over the world. Caused by people on drugs (usually Meth), others trying to get into a street gang need to "prove" themselves worthy, still others just trying to impress their friends. Others have mental issues. Look at the daily news in Chicago. People are shot every day for no obvious reason. Most of the time it's young black kids pulling the trigger. Where are their parents? Nowhere to be found until it's their kid who is the victim and then the parent wants to sue the police for not ensuring the kid was safe instead of taking that responsibility upon themselves where it should be. I'm glad I was born when I was. I don't want to see what this world has become in 30 years. Won't be good.

So sad when it happens to a good guy like this man seemed to be. It sounds like a very personal attack. It said he had no enemies, yet he apparently wasn't robbed so the shooter was very deliberate in this shooting and wanted the man dead. I hope they find the attacker and give him what he deserves. RIP.

Why does Australia and so many other countries spend so little on defense and then expect the US to step in to protect them if an issue arises? Step up to the plate and protect your people. Trump had a very good point when he said too many countries aren't carrying their weigh when it comes to defense spending.

She needs to choose her "friends" more carefully. I wonder if they knew each other long or just met. Swallowing 1 pill, let alone two, when you don't know what they are or what the reaction will be is simply stupid. As is attending a party where you know there will be drugs, fully knowing the repercussions if the cops show up. This poor girl doesn't think rationally.

6,992 Drunk-Driving Cases Recorded in 6 Days
HuskerDo2 replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
There was a story just a few days ago indicating these folks would be fined, lose their license for a year and go to jail. Guess not. This is the most non-credible police force in history. More like Keystone Cops than real cops. -
Thailand to Transform EEC into Smart City by 2037
HuskerDo2 replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
"and build a smart city"....... to build a smart city you need VERY smart people to build it. Unless they reach out to the Western World for help I see a BIG fail on this project. It also would have been nice if it was to be a "smart city with a low level of corruption" but that would be asking too much. -
"Frustrated Vladimir Putin has lost more than 105,000 soldiers"..... if only there would be one more named Vladimir added to the list of the deceased. "since then he has seen an average of 30 tanks and armoured trucks destroyed each day by defenders"....... Despite being outmanned and with far less military equipment Ukraine is kicking some serious butt.
