  1. ~ When you bought a cheap throw-away ticket (or a flight-booking reservation), and you are denied entry on arrival at Suvarnabhumi, obviously you cannot use such ticket. The point of buying such onward-flight ticket is to avoid being denied entry for not having an outbound flight prior to the 30-day Permission to stay you will receive by Thai Immigration when arriving without a Visa. Note that it is almost never actually checked by Thai immigration whether you have such outbound flight. But it are the airlines from your departure point that often check whether you have such international outbound flight-reservation, because when you are denied entry FOR THAT REASON the airline will have to fly back to your departure at their cost. Of course you can be denied entry by Thai border-immigration for OTHER reasons than not being able to show an outbound-ticket reservation.
  2. Instead of buying a 'throw-away' ticket, you could buy on-line an onward-flight reservation from Thailand to Canada. These are genuine reservations (so the airline can check them) from onward-flight reservation service providers like onwardticket.com and cost somewhere between 10 and 15 US $. Note that these reservations are automatically cancelled by the service provider 48 or 72 hours after issue, so it is a matter of booking them on-line the evening before or morning of your departure flight to Thailand.
  3. Afaik these onward-ticket reservations are genuine reservations, but they are automatically cancelled by the service provider 48hr to 72hr after issuing them. So there is no need to buy a more expensive genuine ticket.
  4. Yes, as speedy and efficient my SiSaKet Imm Office is, so slow is my Kasikorn bank branche where even the simplest request takes at least 1/2 hour with copies made of passport, signatures on papers and often - lengthy - telephone calls with HQ to help the staffers there. E.g. it took them 45 minutes (!) to make the changes to align my bank-account with my new passport.
  5. My passport was damaged, so when I returned to my home-country I applied for a new one. My old (damaged) Passport contained my 1-year Permission to stay stamp based on my Non Imm O Retirement Visa, as well as a Re-Entry Permit. So when I re-entered Thailand I had to show both the old Passport as well as my new Passport, and the date of the Re-Entry Permit protected Permission to stay date from my old Passport, was stamped as Permission to stay in my new Passport. After 90 days I went to my local Imm Office, to do my 90-day report (as it was a new Passport it has to be done in person), and there they officially transferred the relevant stamps from my old Passport to my new Passport, as well as stapled a next due date 90-day report notification in my new passport. So basically you can do the - free of cost - stamp-transfer at any time convenient for you, so it is best to do it at your next visit to an Imm Office. NOTE: The Elite Visa procedure may differ, but it should be a similar procedure.
  6. Yikes, and the majority of that 10-point list is indeed 'just coz they can' make you jump their Trat Imm Office hoops. Next time (in 1.5 month) when I do my 1-year extension of stay Retirement application at my SiSaKet office, I will bring a Big Cake for the Imm staff there. It is only when reading the horror-stories at other Imm Offices that I realize how lucky I am dealing with that friendly and efficient office. For my 1-year Retirement extension I only need to bring 3 things: - My passport (no copies needed as the Imm office makes them); - 1 pass-photo; - A bank-account statement issued on same-day as application, a 1-year bank-transactions statement and my same day updated Bank Pass-book (no copies needed). So basically a 1-hour visit to my Thai Bank to get that and then off to the Imm Office. That's all - and it takes SiSaKet Imm Office approx 15 minutes to provide me with the 1-year Retirement extension stamp in my passport.
  7. Yes, go full Karen on the staff and demand to see a supervisor. ~ Requesting to speak to a supervisor when you are pertinent that an onward-flight ticket is not required when entering Thailand, is not 'going full Karen'. The alternative is being denied boarding by the airline staff for a non-existing requirement. Do read the post of @tao40 who - after talking with a more experienced airline staffer - was allowed to board without that not-required onward-flight reservation (unfortunately by that time his flight had already departed, but he was provided with a seat on the next flight).
  8. Do you have any idea why Trat Immigration would be paying a visit to someone on a 1-year extension of stay for reason of Retirement? That they do it during the under consideration period of a 90-day Non Imm O Retirement Visa application or on the very first 1-year extension of such if you got that 90-day Non Imm O Retirement Visa abroad or at another Imm Office, I can imagine. But after that check I have no clue why they would be making such a visit. Unless the Imm Officers there make you pay for the 'petrol' and expect drinks and lunch while visiting you (or money to pay for their lunch they had or will have on their way to or from your location), as this is sometimes practiced by some of the roguer Imm Offices.
  9. You are referring to a January 2022 opinion-piece, which states in the opening sentence We've known for about a month now that a third shot of the vaccine is critical for protecting against infection with the omicron variant — and for keeping people out of the hospital. Now for some credible evidence that you are more prone to get covid-infected with every shot you take > The very large April 2023 Cleveland study, where more than 50.000 thousand Cleveland Clinic employees were followed from Sept 2022 confirmed in its results statement: The risk of COVID-19 also increased with time since the most recent prior COVID-19 episode and with the number of vaccine doses previously received. > The Figure 2 graph shows that with each additional vaccine dose, the risk of catching Covid INCREASED. Source: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/37274183/ Figure 2 (see below) of that study shows the cumulative incidence of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) for study participants stratified by the number of COVID-19 vaccine doses previously received. Day 0 was 12 September 2022, the date the bivalent vaccine was first offered to employees. Point estimates and 95% confidence intervals are jittered along the x-axis to improve visibility.
  10. Lol, as expected the Usual Suspects are all rolling over the alleged 'lack of qualifications' of dr Guy Hatchard to explain the consequences of that dutch pre-print on IgG4 switch. I bet that none of them actually READ the article... being to busy digging for dirt on the author.
  11. An easy challenge > try finding any credible news report on its findings I have read several news reports and articles on the possible consequences of the IgG4 switch in anti-bodies after multiple mRNA jabs as addressed in that dutch pre-print study. Most of them you would dismiss out of hand ('not a peer reviewed credible source'). But New-Zealand based dr Guy Hatchard (from the Hatchard Report) shines his light on the relevance of the findings of that dutch paper. Title of the article > A new paper should alarm our newly elected politicians and galvanize them into responsible action. Source: https://globe.global/how-can-we-wake-up-the-comatose-political-process/ Contrary to the pre-print article with much 'scientific mumbo-jumbo' thereby obfuscating the very plausible but dreadful consequences of the IgG4 switch for the triple-vaccinated, Hatchard's article is written in plain language.
  12. It is customary that when applying for the 90-day Non Imm O Marriage Visa, that you get an Immigration visit during the 'under consideration' period, this to check whether indeed you and your wife are living together at the address provided. Such immigration visit can also occur during the 'under consideration' period when having applied for the 90-day Non Imm O Retirement Visa, but is rather rare and province-dependant. When applying for the 1-year extension based on your Non Imm O Marriage Visa, an Immigration visit is usually conducted again during the 'under consideration period; (once again to check if you are still living with your wife at the same address). 1-year extension applications for a Non Imm O Retirement Visa do not have an 'under consideration' period and when all requirements are met the stamp is provided immediately in your passport (or to be collected next day). So it is extremely rare to receive an Immigration visit when on a 1-year Retirement extension, as there is no reason for local Immigration to check it.
  13. How about the post-marketing report that Pfizer provided to the FDA after the EUA approval, which addresses the adverse effects of the vaccine over a 3 month period (1 Dec 2020 to 28 Feb 2021). There was a total of 42,086 case reports (25,379 medically confirmed and 16,707 non-medically confirmed) containing 158,893 events. The FDA wanted to keep that report confidential for 75 years (!) but due to a Freedom of Information court order they were forced to release it. In a 9-page small-print Appendix it lists 1.291 adverse effects. pfizer-doc-5.3.6-postmarketing-experience.pdf
  14. Which province are you currently living in? And when you would move would it be in same province? Reason I ask is that the 'witness' requirement for Marriage extensions is only a requirement at SOME Imm Offices.
  15. And why on earth would you want to waste your time writing posts (and wasting our time) with a character assassination of dr John Campbell solely based on a quick look on Wikipedia. And guilty as charged: Why on earth would I want to waste my time responding to your drivel...
  16. This is a non-discussion. Dr John Campbell NEVER claimed that he is an MD (medical doctor). He holds a Ph. D. in nursing from the University of Bolton, and is a dr. (i.e. holding a doctorate). That you not understand titles denoting qualification, does not make dr Campbell a fraud fooling the people.
  17. I don't doubt your experience. Their website < onwardticket.com > states: Get A Verified Flight Reservation Within 60 Seconds So that turns out to be a broken promise, and it would be recommended to have some 'back-up' service providers for an onward flight reservation, when doing it close to boarding time.
  18. If you do not understand that the IgG4 switch (from normal 1-2 % to median 21% after your 3rd mRNA shot) impacts ('rewires') your immune system in a non-beneficial way, then this thread is not for you...
  19. Next? Do you imply that we should just forgive and forget, and carry on with our lives? Without accountability and consequences for all the bad actors in this epic human tragedy, we will be condemned to experience it again as it will only make them more brazen knowing that 'they got away with it'.
