  1. No need for that as I clearly remember the '100% safe and effective' statements made by government and Public Health officials when these novel (fancy word for experimental) jabs were being rolled out. And the Big Guy (Biden) was very clear in his message to the nation, that you would not get COVID if you rolled-up your sleeve and got the vaccine. And possible 'adverse effects' were not mentioned at all as the shots were 100% safe. It's interesting to see how that initial '100% safe and effective' message (including that you would not TRANSMIT the virus when being jabbed) has been slowly and steadily 'updated' to keep up with the reality when the evidence of the contrary was not possible to deny anymore.
  2. These are your words, and yet you are still on a 24-7 mission trying to convince people to stay up to date with their booster-shots, and denying any adverse effects from these wonder-jabs...
  3. There is NO need to do a 90-day report when staying less than 90 consecutive days in Thailand. And there is no requirement that you should have ever done one when applying for the 1-year extension from your current 90-day Non Imm O Visa for reason of retirement.
  4. CANADA - Latest Covid-19 Epidemiology Update https://health-infobase.canada.ca/covid-19/ Weekly updated report providing a Summary of - COVID-19 cases, - hospitalizations and deaths, - cases following vaccination, - testing and variants of concern across Canada and over time. Some very interesting developments taking place... but you have to dig deep (and consult previous reports) to find them.
  5. Very likely... No data to back up those pro-vax rubbish statements. Note how they are now using words like 'likely', 'suggest', 'might', etc. to back-up their claims.
  6. A double disingenuous response. # Debunking a claim never made by the scientist to cast doubt on his findings. # Attributing a statement to a scientist that he never made. But I leave it at that, because the abundant evidence of DNA contamination in the mRNA jabs, is not even disputed anymore by BigPharma-funded Fact-Checkers.
  7. The header of that Fact-Check article puts the reader on the wrong foot. But when reading the full Fact Check indeed the content of the A.P. article is correct, they are not attempting to debunk McKernans findings and in fact support them. But using that header 'No Monkey Virus DNA was found in covid-vaccines' is disingenuous. An alternative header like 'Only Monkey Virus promoters were found in covid-vaccines' and rating that claim CORRECT would have been far more informative. I also note that you tried to smuggle a debunker of McKernan's findings in your response, by attributing the claim that "the fear about the SV40 sequences is total nonsense" to him. On the contrary, McKernan is quite concerned about these SV40 sequences. And it was not McKernan but Phillip Buckhaults that made that 'nonsense' claim, when he back-pedaled the statements he made during the congressional hearing, where he confirmed McKernan's findings.
  8. When your application for the 1-year extension of stay is based on your original 90-day Non Imm O Visa for reason of RETIREMENT > Then yes But if your application is based on an original 90-day Non Imm O Visa for reason of MARRIAGE (or dependant children) > Then you will have to go through an 'under consideration' period, during which your application needs to be approved by Divisional Headquarters and during which you might get a visit from Immigration to check whether you are indeed living together with your Thai wife at the address you provided. That's a mostly bureaucratic process and it is very very rare that an Imm Office accepted application is later rejected. The 'under consideration' period normally takes approx 2 weeks and Immigration provides you with a date on which you have to come back to get the approved stamp in your passport.
  9. A document that would cover all the detailed and DIFFERENT requirements for the 1-year extension application for reason of Marriage as applied in all +76 Thai Imm Offices, would be both massive, impractical and unreadable. I requested the OP to provide me with the requirements document as provided by his local Imm Office, so that I can provide detailed comments on how to deal with these specific requirements. And that Imm Office specific Guideline document would be quite comprehensive.
  10. I wrote that Guideline for another AN member using the requirements documents of his specific Imm Office, and providing comprehensive comments on how to deal with each of those requirements. When the OP provides me with the requirements for his Pathum Thani office, I will customize the Guideline to address those requirements (since the detail requirements for every Imm Office differ).
  11. I don't know whether Samui has an Immigration Re-Entry Permit desk at its airport. But all major international Thai airports (e.g. Suvarnabhumi, Don Mueang, Chiang-Mai, Phuket, ...) have a 24-hour manned Re-Entry Permit desk for international departures < all of them situated behind security check and just before/after the Immigration booths where you are stamped out >.
  12. You could give it a try, but as the BKK Imm Office is not the local Imm Office where you have your 'official address for Immigration purposes', chances are they will refuse to provide you with a Re-Entry Permit.
  13. It is indeed 'cutting it fine' for the 1-year extension of stay application, especially since you wrote that it will be your very first 1-year extension of stay application for reason of Marriage. But for sure it is not impossible. I would suggest you proceed as follows: #1 - Get hold of the 'requirements document' for a 1-year extension for reason of marriage at your local Imm Office. This is important as every Imm Office has different requirements on the details of these requirements, and will not accept your application when it is not 100% in compliance with THEIR requirements. #2 - Then get hold of all documents (except the ones that need to be up-to-date on date of application), and visit Imm Office again to enquire whether that provisional trial-application meets their requirements. #3 - Apply at the earliest day possible (as confirmed by the Imm Office, as they might allow 60 days instead of 2 months for your application), which will give you sufficient time to get hold of any missing or incomplete documents, for the application. NOTE that I recently compiled a comprehensive Guideline for such a 1-year extension of stay application based on an original Non Imm O Visa for reason of MARRIAGE. When you are interested in receiving that Guideline do send me a PM, as well as at WHICH Imm Office you will be applying for the 1-year extension (and the 1-year extension of stay requirements document from that Imm Office if you have that already). Cheers and success!
  14. #1 - Can the TM30 be completed and registered online? Yes, the owner, landlord or tenant of the place where you are staying, can register the premises on the IO TM-30 website. And that will then allow him/her to notify the local Imm Office online that a foreigner is staying at the premises (TM-30 notification). #2 - If I am staying in a Province where the nearest IMO is located in another province can my friends submit the form there? You have to register at the Imm Office of the province where the premises are located, even if another Imm Office is much closer. #3 - Is there a time limit to submitting a hard copy? Such notification (be it on-line or done in person with hard-copy) should be done within 24 hours of the foreigner arriving at the premises. Most Imm Offices are lenient on that '24 hours' requirement (which is mainly aimed at Hotels/Guesthouses), so when doing it within 1-2 weeks is normally accepted. But as TiT there are of course Imm Offices who will fine you for not having done it in time. #4 - Years ago I just reported my presence at the local Tambon Police Station! I cannot recall a TM30 being mentioned. That was in the time when some provinces did not have their own Imm Office. TM-30 regulations have changed and it is currently a hard requirement to have a TM-30 filed to get any service from an Imm Office. Note that you might not be aware that you filed a TM-30, because when providing your local Imm Office with a copy of your rental agreement (a necessary accompagning document when staying at a rented place) the local Imm Office might file a TM-30 for you without them telling you. #5 - Last year my hosts were fined 1600 B for not submitting the form. when they asked how they would know of the various forms needed by foreigners the response was, "You have to know!" Yes, you are supposed to 'know the law'. But of course the law (and Imm requirements) in Thailand are a very fluent concept as every Imm Office has the authority to interpret, adapt and amend the requirements as they see fit. And crazy as it might sound, the Imm Office can fine you, if the owner/landlord or host of the place where you are staying has not submitted a TM-30 of you staying at the premises. And since it is you that needs an immigration service (e.g. an extension of stay) you will then have little choice but to pay that fine, as otherwise they will not provide you with any service. #6 - What is the IQ level required by IMOs when joining the Ministry? IQ level is irrelevant, what matters are having the right 'connections' and sometimes providing a 'brown envelope' to get the job (obviously, the appointee will then often also apply 'brown envelope' tactics to recover his investment).
  15. When you leave for Thailand with a VISA there is no need for an onward flight, Such onward flight ticket reservation is ONLY required when entering Thailand VisaExempt (without a Visa) and the flight-reservation has to be for an outbound flight on a date prior to the 30 days Permission to stay you will receive on entry from Thai border-immigration. Note that you can buy a fully legit out-bound flight reservation online for 10-15 US $ at onwardticket.com or similar sites. That actual reservation stays valid for 2-3 days after which it is automatically cancelled, so you need to buy it the evening before or morning of the date your flight to Thailand is scheduled.
  16. I am sending the above request to all posters in the current thread, as one of you might have the requirements document as provided by the Khon Kaen office @JCD @KhunBENQ @circa02 @Bangkok Barry @brianthainess @recom273 @ThaiFelix @khunjake @lungbing @nahkit @foreverlomsak @fceligoj @OJAS Thanks in advance!
  17. Yes, that's correct: When you are on an unbroken chain of Permissions to stay based on the same Non Imm O Visa, you are allowed only one 60-day extension for reason of visiting your wife. Note that when you entered VisaExempt or on a Tourist Visa that you can apply once for a 30-day extension of stay as well as once for a 60-day extension of stay for reason of visiting your wife.
  18. When you are in Thailand on a Permission to stay based on a Non Imm O Visa (be it for Retirement or Marriage or any other reason), you cannot apply for a 30-day extension of stay at your local Imm Office, as such 30-day extensions are ONLY for those that entered on a VisaExempt or Tourist Visa. But when you are married to a Thai national you can ALWAYS apply at your local Imm Office for a 60-day extension of stay for reason of visiting your wife and it doesn't matter on which Visa you entered Thailand (be it VisaExempt, Tourist, Retirement or Marriage).
  19. Yes, that is possible but be aware that there are a couple of Imm Offices that do not allow you to apply for reason of dependant child (so better check with your local Imm Office). The obvious benefit for doing an application for reason of dependant child instead of for reason of being married to a Thai national, is that the 400.000,- THB on a personal Thai bank account ONLY need to be available at the moment of application for the dependant child based 1-year extension. While for a 1-year extension based on your Non Imm O Visa for reason of marriage, the funds need to be seasoned on your Thai bank-account for at least 2 months at the moment of application.
  20. So in your case - married to a Thai national - you can apply at your local Imm Office for a 60-day extension of stay. Such application can be done once for EACH entry into Thailand. So those that have a MultipleEntry Non Imm O Visa and are married to a Thai national can apply after every entry in Thailand (which will provide them with a 90-day Permission to stay). So if it is cumbersome to do the border-hop every 3 months, one could also extend every 90-day Permission to stay with a one-time 60-day extension for reason of visiting your wife. To answer your last question > Immigration will not have any objections for you doing so, as you would be fully compliant with all Immigration requirements. Cheers and success!
  21. Oops, if he is not married to a Thai national that rules out applying for the ME Non Imm O Marriage Visa at the Thai Consulate in Savannakhet (or applying for a 60-day extension for reason of marriage at his local Imm Office). Even if he would not be able to get hold of the required documentation to apply for a Visa/extension for reason of Thai child, for sure there are other options for him to stay in Thailand. But to provide relevant advice on those options, more info is needed, like his age, nationality and on which Visa he is currently staying in Thailand (as well as the expiry date of his Permission to stay).
  22. Thanks Tod, very valuable information you provided here to the OP! Some additional info: Applying at the Thai consulate in Savannakhet (Laos) for the 90-days SingleEntry (1.500 THB) or 1-year MultipleEntry (5.000 THB) Non Imm O Visa for reason of marriage, basically only requires a Marriage certificate with a Thai national. And the Visa is provided next day. It would be recommended when taking that option that he applies for the MultipleEntry one, it costs a bit more but has the advantage that when his case drags on that he would be able to stay 15 or 17 months in Thailand. That MultipleEntry Non Imm O Marriage Visa provides a 90-day Permission to stay with each entry in Thailand, and each entry can also be extended for 60-days for reason of visiting his wife (but that requires co-operation of his wife which would need to accompany him when applying for the 60-days extension). OP > When you are interested in that option, we can provide you with all specific info to get hold of that ME Non Imm O Marriage Visa.
  23. DrJack's point is that if you are ONLY flying to Singapore because of the 30-day Permission to stay expiry date, that it would be far easier to simply apply in Thailand for a 30-day extension of stay, which can be done at any Thai Immigration Office (1.900,- THB). The extension is provided on the spot and the 30 days of the extension added to your earlier Permission to stay expiry date. But obviously if you have plans to visit Singapore, such 30-day extension is not necessary as you will receive another 30 day Permission to stay when re-entering Thailand from Singapore.
  24. That's indeed a better option when the OP wants to stay almost 2 months in Thailand without having planned any trips abroad half-way. But in that case he would have to buy before his departure to Thailand an outbound ticket or outbound flight reservation on a date prior to expiry of the 30-day Permission to stay he would receive on entering Thailand. Note that fully legit outbound ticket reservations can be bought on-line for 12-15 US $ (e.g onwardticket.com).
  25. Can someone please PM me the requirements for the 1-year extension application for reason of Marriage from the Khon Kaen office? Thanks in advance. Would also be good to know if there are any EXTRA requirements for the very first 1-year extension of stay application (e.g. some Imm Offices in that case require that you bring a witness or that you provide a copy of the Certificate of Singleness when you did marry in Thailand).
