I can't decide whether your posts are written very tongue in cheek or if you believe everything you've written. I could name an ex PM who also fits the description above,I think you'll find that if you dug deep enough you'd be able to find plenty of dirt on the majority of those in power,there's an old saying 'power tends to corrupt,and absolute power corrupts absolutely' which tells you all you need to know about the state of the world,it's not just America.

He's a politician just like dozy Biden,I reckon you'd have a job finding an honest politician the world over,as a friend of mine says 'if a politician is talking the chances are he's lying',we are told what politicians want us to believe,the truth doesn't come in to it,after all 'repeat a lie often enough and it becomes truth' and to be a 'good' politician first learn to lie.

I agree,what I was complaining about was the fact that our water bottles were taken off us AFTER check in,Air Asia is the ONLY airline (and the most uncomfortable)that I have had the misfortune to travel with that have had the audacity to do that and then not provide free water on a long haul flight,needless to say we won't be travelling with them again.

So does Air Asia as we found out when taking a flight to Oz,bottled water bought after check in was taken off us,they then tried selling us water on the flight,on principle we refused!

With any subject we can all find arguments to suit our way of thinking and there will always be so called 'experts' (often getting paid to suit an agenda)who will push there ideals be it brexit,covid,climate change etc

The UK used to have a high standard of schooling,I'm not so sure now,everything has been dumbed down with the result that standards have dropped and from what you say the older child possibly wouldn't cope with the English school system.Like others have said I would be inclined to let them finish their schooling in an excellent Thai school then decide what they want out of life. With tongue in cheek they could cheat the system and cross the channel in a rubber dingy and claim asylum!

As I understand it,Europe have been charging the UK an export tax since Brexit,the useless UK government should have imposed the import duties at the same time,they didn't because they couldn't get their act together(what's new),today the news is full of UK farmers going to go bust because they no longer get subsidies from the corrupt EU and before the remoaners start agreeing with that-where the heck do you think the money for the subsidies came from in the first place,it came from the British tax payer,paid into the grasping hands of the corrupt regime known as the EU who then doled out a small amount back to the UK as various subsidies the rest went to feather the nests of all the politicians and their hangers on in Brussels and Strasbourg. Please also note that the Brexit that was voted for has not yet been implemented and I doubt it ever will be, so those remoaners who keep blaming Brexit for all the ills in the UK need to first check their facts,it would help if those who are supposedly in charge knew how to balance the books(never mind cook them).
