  1. Well if its true, nobody died like in the shameful Biden retreat from Afghanistan. Guess there are levels of mistakes.
  2. Well there is a topic on it, wherein all of you guys claiming that National Socialism isnt "real socialism" (whatever that is) are getting smacked down. Search it out and join in, you might learn something. Of course. Truth is important. Never expect less from me. So..... Tell us which of the Socialist regimes in history were NOT authoritarian and DID NOT engage in mass murder.
  3. Does anybody on this forum have anything in their house that says Made in Russia? Other than maybe vodka, a bag of kasha, or some nesting dolls? I'm not talking about the Russian girl you bought last night at Mixx either
  4. Socialism mandates terrorism and violence. The philosophical underpinnings of socialism, indeed, their entire philosophical premise for government and life can only be achieved by terrorists who engage in violence and authoritarianism. The best examples of socialist violence are found, of course, in bolshevism, national socialism and Chinese communism.
  5. She doesn't do investments. We have an investment advisor. She doesn't look at any of the paperwork, just watches the View and complains about Trump and Tesla stock.
  6. All insurance for vehicles is ridiculous. I'm not even thinking about buying a car for another year or so. My last insurance quote was $450 a month on a 2023 911T. You can probably take $100 off of that because of my driving record. But $4,000 a year for car insurance? It's not just Tesla
  7. My mom has a lot of Tesla stock and she was worried about it the other day. She hates Trump with a passion. Thank God I always have " mom this line is terrible and I can't hear you" to avoid the conversation.
  8. That way you don't get to see your fake Internet knowledge crashing about your head as folks do things like quote the text of statutes as opposed to quotes from Rachel Maddow
  9. Photography is better with blue skies
  10. I dont know what you think our battles against the National Socialists have to do with my ironic comment about the ICC and the Dutch Army that protects them. We werent fighting the Dutch then, we were fighting the ones who enslaved them in order to free them.
  11. Cambodian Visas are obtained at the Border or a via E-app. There are two types. Tourist, extendable once, tourism only. Ordinary, extendable for 6 months or a year. Ordinary visas a are for employees, business people and retirees. If you enter on a Tourist Visa and get a job, you need to leave the country and reenter with an ordinary Visa. You cant get a retirement extension on a Tourist Visa ATTN THAI RETIREES: if you are tired of the system in Thailand and are worrying about taxes and are thinking of getting a Cambodian Retirement extension and are checking things out, then you should buy an Ordinary Visa ($35) upon arrival so you can extend it without having to leave and come back.
  12. Well if we follow the European lead on things like Free Speech and elections you may be right
  13. The hole in the floor for a toilet is a key addition. Same fare for the past 30 years IIRC
  14. Oh so if folks with a Thai entry fly to Phnom Pen in the morning flight, check out the sights and take the evening flight back, its not a border run? I thought same day runs were not allowed at certain crossings. Maybe you can ask the Mods to Change the Title then.
  15. Wow. Im really in your head huh. LOL
  16. Absolutely. I won lifes lottery, I am a citizen of the Greatest civilization ever to hit this poor benighted planet and do not care what anyone thinks, especially in environments where I am despised just because of who I am. The 82nd Airborne would conquer Holland in two days. Hands up dont shoot.
  17. Its just a border report, want me to do one in O'smach/Chom Chong. Thats a close one for you in Isaan, right down through Buriram.
  18. Well I have the USA and Israel those are fabulous. Bermuda, Switzerland, Poland....
  19. I dont limit myself, I deprive others of my greatness. Giving of my time and money is my choice, no loss or gain to anyone else matters. Its all about me. I wouldnt want to be in a place that didnt welcome me anyway. Im sure I can find a place to take me.
  20. Old ladies sell Home made little coconut cakes on the train for 10 baht.
  21. Well its a Thai Board so I left the Cambodian stuff out. She was in Cambodia on a Non Extendable Tourist Visa. She got a job so is eligible for a 1 year Multiple entry extension of an Ordinary Visa, which one can only obtain at entry into Cambodia Trying to get an Ordinary Visa in Poipet is a reported nightmare, especially because it gets so busy and all is 20th century paper. Therefore, the reverse visa run: 1. Apply for an Ordinary Visa via their excellent E-Entry program (only usable by air) 2. Leave Cambodia via Poipet 3. Party Like a rockstar in Bangkok.. 4. Go to DMK, leave on the Air Asia evening flight (FD 618) 5. Enter Cambodia, get your Ordinary Visa sticker when you show them the E-Visa paperwork yourPRINTED OUT as they instruct. 6. Then go to the Visa Agent within a few days with your paperwork from your employer, pay the $400 for work permit and Visa Extension. I wanted to leave the Cambodian stuff out so as not to confuse people. Mostly I wanted to reassure folks that it was easy to enter Thailand, watch for the touts (who have increased since my last trip in) and give an on the grounder. I should also note that if you are taking Air Asia out of DMK and you cant kiosk check in because of baggage, get to the airport early. Lines were enormous.
  22. I wouldnt want to go to a place where Israelis arent welcome with open arms. Or Americans.
  23. 1. Come to Thailand. 2. Find the property. 3. Go to Krungsri Bank in Emquartier, Bangkok ask for private banking and they will help you.
