No need for fresh tomatoes, all you need is a can of tomato puree, 1 small onion, half a carrot, 4/5 rashers of streaky bacon, 125grms butter, flour, milk/water, salt and pepper to taste. Same method for Mushroom but leave out the carrot and fry them with the onion. For Chicken Soup use chicken stock instead of water.
