1 Oh I am sure the Ukrainians will try to hold on to the land in Kursk. But tell me, do you think they will succeed? Putin cleverly saw through the gambit like the consumate chess player that he is, and refused to fall for the trap. He keeps his best troops where it mattered and will slowly flush out the Ukrainians in Kursk. No rush about that required. 2 if you think Ukraine is winning on the main front, I don't think you are well informed about current developments. 3 You misunderstood the British expert, he drew a very clear analogy when he explained that in the attacks on Serbia the West had to fly over 10000 bombing missions and that the Ukraine is simply incapable of mounting anything approaching such numbers so it is very unlikely that missiles against a number of Russian targets will have an effect on the war in the sense of defeating Russia. They won't. Again, Ukraine cannot win this war. What about the last point, Brian, the fact that strong Ukraine supporter and former military man President Pavel of the Czech Republic has said there is no hope in the near future of Ukraine winnig the war and a negotiated peace is now the best option? "In an interview with The New York Times (NYT) published on Sept. 23, Petr Pavel said the "temporary" occupation of some Ukrainian territories by Russia is the most likely outcome of Moscow's full-scale invasion. "To talk about a defeat of Ukraine or defeat of Russia, it will simply not happen. So the end will be somewhere in between," he said, adding Kyiv needed to be "realistic."" "Defeating Russia in Ukraine at the cost of killing half the Ukrainian population is probably not a victory." https://kyivindependent.com/ukraine-responds-after-czech-presidents-temporary-russian-occupation-comments/

The reason for President Putin's new nuclear doctrine are not found in the present, in any current military developments. Rather obviously the reason for the new doctrine is to send a clear warning to Western states about future actions, it has been made very clear that if Ukraine were to deploy missiles to hit targets in Russia, use drones on a grand scale in Russia, or send aircraft on a large scale to attack Russian targets, then Russia will consider that sufficient resason to deploy tactical nuclear weaopns. The West has a problem hearing and listening to Russia's warnings, this is why this has to be made clear, after all, that is why the war in Ukraine happened in the first place, the West not listening to Russia's concerns about Ukraine becoming a Western client state. The West did not listen and the war in Ukraine ensued. Equally, whether or not permission is given by the US or not to use missiles, the Ukraine will try and hit Russia with missiles it made herself in an effort to draw the US into the conflict. It is for the US to decide if it allows itself to be dragged into a hot war with Russia by Ukraine, by providing Ukraine with missiles and allowing strikes on Russia. The warnings could not be made any clearer by Russia, but no doubt the shock and outrage will be great when the first tactical nuclear weapon is deployed. Then Putin can point to repeated warnings and say "I told you so, you did not listen". Just as he did with Ukraine in the first place in relation to NATO.

The Daily Mail for me. It will tell you details other papers will not. -
A British expert on German TV: 1 - Kursk gambit has failed, troops would have been much better used on the main front 2 - Another Ukrainian town has fallen to the Russians 3 - Missiles would make no difference in the course of the war, too few of them. 4. - Presdent Pawel of Czech Republic, a staunch Ukraine supporter, said it is now clear that Ukraine will have to cede territory, a victory is unlikely.

Harris holds 7-point lead over Trump in national survey
Cameroni replied to Inderpland's topic in Political Soapbox
Somewhat odd, is it not that the Teamster poll has Trump ahead 60% to 34%, and all the mainstream media polls have Trump behind or tied. How strange is that? -

Trump Surges in Latest Top Poll 538 Predictions
Cameroni replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Yes it was economic terrorism when the Ukrainians sabotaged Nordstream. Good point about the nuclear power plant, another example of Ukraine having no scruples to go to the brink of crazy recklessness, regardless of who will suffer. -
The vultures are coming out for a pay day. It was the same with Jeffrey Epstein, all of a sudden scores of women turned up, lured by the fact that Epstein's private fortune was to be distributed among the victims. So being a victim was an exceptional pay day, indeed it made Virgina Giuffre a cool 2 million USD, she now lives in a Villa in Australia. Even women with almost no connection to Epstein tried and failed to jump on the victim train. No doubt we'll see a lot more women claiming Sean Coombs raped them.

Trump Surges in Latest Top Poll 538 Predictions
Cameroni replied to Social Media's topic in World News
It actuallly would make a lot more sense for the Ukrainians to help Harris, since they have billions to gain if Harris wins. Ukrainians have also proven that they are fine to engage in state terrorism with Nordstream, they have fanatical and well trained Commandos. Trump better beef up his security. -
Yes, it's sad you're not aware that the President can unilaterally issue a variety of rules, regulations, and instructions , including Executive Orders which have the force of law. In addition: "Much of the legislation dealt with by Congress is drafted at the initiative of the executive branch. In modern times, the "executive communication" has become a prolific source of legislative proposals. The communication is usually in the form of a message or letter from a member of the president's Cabinet, the head of an independent agency, or the president himself, transmitting a draft of a proposed bill to the speaker of the House of Representatives and the president of the Senate. The president may personally propose legislation in annual and special messages to Congress including the annual State of the Union address and joint sessions of Congress. If Congress has adjourned without acting on proposals, the president may call a special session of the Congress." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Powers_of_the_president_of_the_United_States But, hey...they didn't teach that at your High School I guess?

Putin Proposes Expanded Nuclear Doctrine Amid Ukraine Conflict
Cameroni replied to Social Media's topic in The War in Ukraine
Which is exactly what caused the Ukraine war in the first place. Didn't work out so well the last time Putin wasn't listened to, did it? Ukraine was invaded. Brits have the luxury of pursuing a head in the sand strategy after Boris Johnson caused Zelensky not to sign a deal with Russia at the start of the war. Others are not so lucky. If Putin is ignored again, it will be a disaster. The man has over 5000 nuclear weapons. -
Putin Proposes Expanded Nuclear Doctrine Amid Ukraine Conflict
Cameroni replied to Social Media's topic in The War in Ukraine
We have never been closer to a nuclear war in our lifetime than we are now. This is what unqualified support for Ukraine has got us, a revision of the nuclear doctrine and Russia one step away from bombing Ukraine with tactical nukes. Congratulations to all the cheerleaders for Ukraine who have thrown gasoline onto the nuclear fire. Our only hope is that Trump becomes president, withdraws funding and the war in Ukraine ends. if Harris is elected she has already indicated that she will give more weapons and aid to Ukraine, thus making nuclear war more likely still. If Russia is struck with missiles it is very likely Russia will eventually retaliate with a tactical nuclear weapon. If you look at the history of WWI and WWII you will see that all the national leaders were shocked when a world war happened, noobdy planned it, it happened by accident. It looks very much like once again Britain, France, the United States and Russia will drag the world into an accidental world war. -
AI can be useful, some people use it to to learn foreign languages, to anaylze competitors, to prepare emails, it's a very long list. The thing that gets me, is that it's not "AI", it's very much human I, because it is human AI Data trainers that are basically inputting the correct data. It's like a chess computer that is given the correct data by humans and then processes the data faster, that is all. But it is not actual intelligence of the human kind. Humans just put in the data and the model then processes it. I therefore am puzzled why Musk and others claim we need to be careful of AI. Yes, it can take jobs, but I don't see how it could take over the world.

That's a fair point. But then my ex wife couldn't get in, out of respect and love for her I put it at 45, she still works out and is slim and fit. But not close to how spectacular she was at 19, you have a point.

This is indeed the case. Nietzsche taught that it is the overcoming of obstacles which makes us happy. And only this really makes us happy. But even then this happiness is only fleeting, just like the sensual happiness of sex, food, massage etc..it does not last. Goethe was asked if he had been happy in his life. This great man, who had experienced more in his lifetime than most men in hundred, replied "Maybe four weeks ". Ultimate happiness would be the absence of time. The absence of fleeting happness and transformation, but the presence of ever lasting bliss. Perhaps this is what awaits after death. Bill Hicks and other druggies told us we are all one with the universe, so do the mystics, and so do those who have had near death experiences. It is very regrettable there won't be orgies and people speaking Korean. It's such a pleasant language. There is wisdom in this though, because if you could experience the permanent bliss of an MDMA high for an extended period your body would fail after a few days at most. Your mind would be gone as you go insane with love and lust if the body doesn't go after a few days. Our body was not built for happiness, nor is our mind. Ultimately permanent bliss may be more satisfying than all the sensual pleasures. Who knows.

Undoubtedly it does persist still. However, given the requirements to notify regulators of purchases or sales of listed shares, it is not impossible for regulators to figure out whether insider trading happened or not based on certain information.
