  1. I just hope Kamala will not start crying during the debate, because during her DNC speech I thought any minute she'll need Kleenex. That weird semi-crying voice, my God, how annoying is that to listen to?
  2. The hybrid motor is not magical to be sure, but it is a nice option which gives you greater fuel economy but still the option for long range driving without BEV range anxiety because the Hybrid can just fuel at any petrol station, whereas the BEV, well, we all know the issue.
  3. Imagine the nerve of the Harris camp, they want the microphone on at all times, so she can interrupt at will with her shrill voice. Unbelievable chutzpah.
  4. Yah, but that's not the full story. Many hybrid systems will run the gas engine at a higher speed than needed, but one that's efficient, and use the extra power to run a motor-generator that can then feed power to the battery or directly to a traction motor. Plus the hybrid is more economical on long distances: Take the 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid as an example; it uses the same 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine as the nonhybrid Civic but swaps in a hybrid transmission packing a pair of electric motors. The nonhybrid model's best fuel-economy ratings are 32 mpg in the city and 41 on the highway. Adding the hybrid gear raises both figures, which come in at 50 mpg in the city and 47 on the highway. So while the city number gets a bigger boost and surpasses the highway figure thanks to the hybrid system, the hybrid has a fuel-economy benefit regardless of where and how it's driven. https://www.caranddriver.com/features/a61730444/are-hybrids-good-for-long-distance-driving/ Whats more, with a hybrid you can just stop and refuel as there's petrol stations everywhere. With a BEV that's somewhat different.
  5. What? Would you care to disclose your reasoning?
  6. Yes, the good hybdrids are expensive, but marvels of engineering. I owned a Lexus hybrid and was very happy with the performance.
  7. Dream on. Your fantasies are divorced from reality, you may want to educate yourself on the history of polling. in June 1988, George H.W. Bush trailed Michael Dukakis by 12 percentage points in polling averages (he went on to win by eight). Exactly four years later, Mr Bush led Bill Clinton by ten percentage points, and wound up losing by seven. In more recent years, polling errors have been a bit smaller—but they can still be substantial. In 2000 Mr Bush’s son George W. saw his ten-point lead over Al Gore in the popular vote turn into a deficit during the final three months of the campaign. https://www.economist.com/interactive/us-2024-election/prediction-model/president/how-this-works
  8. Yah, but people who buy hybdrids will get the best of both worlds, reduced fuel costs plus range. I can see the attraction. And there's some great hybrids made by Lexus.
  9. He trailed women with 13 points when he beat Hillary Clinton.
  10. https://www.foxnews.com/official-polls/fox-news-poll-new-matchup-same-result-trump-bests-harris-one-point https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2024-presidential-election
  11. I wasn't talking about him specifically but rather about relationships generally. Where betrayal is, sadly, a common occurence.
  12. What if Trump wins again, like he did against the other shrill woman? What will you Harrisworld dwellers do then? Cry bitter tears and and curse the unfair world?
  13. Yah, he took documents to his house. He called a payment a legal expense. Are these "crimes" or are these politically motivated persecutions? I would say the latter.
  14. I'm not saying that. What I'm saying is that you have to guard yourself against taking the beautiful words of women, or indeed men, seriously in any way and recognise that they are just words. You have to guard your soul against the fantasy, which women will want to ignite in your mind. Because once you have fallen into this fantasy of the soul known as "love", many a man has paid with his bank account, his sanity, and sometimes his life. Like with drugs, the high from love comes at a steep price. You can partake, but you should be aware of the risks. And mostly you need to realise that it will not last long, it will not last forever.
  15. Funnily enough that's exactly the lead which Hilary had with women when she lost to Trump. That's still an awful lot of white women voting for the sexual predator. Odd isn't it?
  16. Trump has never committed a crime in his life. That's outrageous Democrat propaganda.
  17. It's remarkable the democrat news outlets have Harris in front, the republican news outlet has Trump in front. Who'd have thought?
  18. He has denied that. "That's fake news. I didn't ask Kamala Harris for a Cabinet position but I've reached out to all the candidates. I've met with some," Kennedy told guests during his "TikTok Town Hall" live-streamed event." https://www.foxnews.com/politics/rfk-denies-report-he-asked-position-harris-cabinet Didn't he also post that he wanted no job on Trump's team, or that he did not ask for it?
  19. I certainly find it hard to believe how Kamala Harris could go from a 39% approval rating to the current numbers, after Charlie CXC endorsed her as a Brat only a few weeks later. It's true the mainstrain media has been pushing the Kamala dream, but she hasn't done anything. How can she be posting such poll numbers without even speaking to the media?
  20. I can tell you one thing, SKY news has gone downhill in a handbasket.
  21. These ludicrous stories not withstanding, if RFJK jr joining Trump is indeed an "empty grab for power", it's quite interesting that RFJ Jr thought it advisable to grab onto Trump's lapels, and not Kamala's. Presumably he then expects Trump to win. Since the Democrats would have been an easier and more natural choice for him.
  22. Excuse me? Who the hell are you?
  23. I just find it funny when the democrats go on how Trump wanted to effect a coup, when the democrats just pulled off a real one by removing Joe Biden against his will.
  24. You were parting from the current cost for Hydrogen for a Toyota Mirai. But that cost is likely to go down substantially. So your calculation is not accurate, it does not account for "compounding" of price decreases over the years. I can see that for some people, those who don't drive a lot, especially only short distances in the city, the BEV now can make sense. However, even though I also prefer to fly to Bangkok, I would like the freedom to drive in the North of Thailand for longer than just short trips. I can see a BEV as a sensible side car or second car, but not as a main car. Range is still a problem, as you can see from the review of the MG ZS electric, and half an hour to fuel up, it's still too long.
  25. This is a terrible shock to swinger communities all over the world.
