It could be, it could be, I'm an awesome driver. Of course I could be American with an admixture of Finnish. whose family happened to own a house in Sweden. Or British. Or German. Or Spanish. Eeewwww, not Spanish, delete, delete... Anything is possible really. Except Spanish. But Lomo iberico is good.

Thank God I did not have to use the toilet at Moscow airport. I feel for you. I don't know why the apartment doorways in Russia smell of urine so badly, but I don't even want to think about what the airport toilets were like in Moscow. I'd still the say the Utedass has to be way worse, it's outside in minus 40 degrees, at least the Moscow airport toilet is properly heated. Btw, anyone who finds these Thai squat toilets as repulsive as I do, I have a tip for you, on Lazada you can buy little stools craftily cut out, specifically for use on these squat toilets. I'm not saying it's a great solution, but they have other uses too, the Japanese here will know what I'm talking about.

Magnificent. Russia was almost civilised by comparison to Sweden, indoor toilets, heating cranked up to cozy temperatures, And you won't believe the bakeries they have there. Like France. Not like this rock hard bread they have in Sweden. When I was a guest in the house of a Swedish friend they made me eat this rock hard stone for breakfast and called it bread. I swear to God, it was hard as a stone. Swedes eat stones and crap in a hole outside. I'm telling you, these people are not normal. Russia on the other hand, well, almost normal. I mean the stench of urine in the apartment elevators was a bit overwhelming, but they drink a lot of vodka. As I would do if I lived in Sweden.

Hard to do in minus 40 degrees when you're trying not to fall into a giant hole in the Swedish earth. What a horrible experience. Sweden, it's the worst place I've ever been. And I've been to Russia.

I wish I were, I wish were. But sadly, the Utedass is a real horror the Swedes have inflicted on the world, and on me in particular. It's a thing. I'm telling you from real life experience. Don't believe what you read on the internet, the Swedes dump into a hole in the ground.

It's delicious, I had it, believe it or not, in the Caribbean. Love it.

Okay, I'll take it. But you have to admit, it's a very persuasive hypothesis? Impressive Swedes? What? Let me have a look. Okay, I had a look. Linnaeus, okay, but it's a very short list. Imagine if the US did a list like this. The Swedes would be exposed as the pitiful hole dumpers they are.

I'm amazed the Canadians came up with the poutine. French fries and brown sauce and the French, Belgian, Germans, Austrians, or Swiss couldn't think of this? I tip my hat to you.

I don't know why you keep posting this fake news and arguing, Inderpland. I've been to Sweden. I've lived the nightmare. I had to take a dump in a typical Swedish outhouse in minus 40 degrees. I've seen the neighbours had similar outhouses. I know what I saw. I'm a living witness, maybe the last of my kind. All your fake news won't change what I saw, and the horrors I had to go through in Sweden. A hole in the ground. This is Sweden! If Swedish scientists are so great, why are they taking a dump in a hole in the ground in the 21st century? And the worst: The Swedes have brought this horror to Africa: https://www.yennengaprogress.se/news/latrines

Did you miss the point then that studies of native populations also confirm lower testosterone values in Asia? This is a rock solid fact, man. It's not due to an American diet, Asians in Asia have lower testosterone levels too. It's biology that's the cause. There are marked, clearly lower, testosterone levels in Asia, and you're not convinced that the prevalence of homosexualitya and ladyboy culture in Asia is down to biological factors? There are none so blind as those who will not see. I'm disappointed in you, Inderpland. Swedish scientists, hahaha, at least you make me laugh. Oh man, you realise if it wasn't for Austrian bakers there'd be no Danish? Swedish scientists, hahahaha, that's priceless.

Actually you're talking rubbish, you're simply not aware of the prevalence of outdoor toilets in Sweden. I am sure some of our Swedish friends here will in due course confirm this. But it is a real thing there. Obviouslly it has to be outdoor life, because there are no toilets in the houses in rural Sweden. Hence the outdoor lav is outside. Don't be so dense, Inderpland. Liveable? Pah, the food was terrible, it gets to minus 40 degrees and you have to take dumps in an outhouse in the 21st century, Scandinavia is the worst place on earth. Hundred wild horses won't bring me back to that God forsaken place.

Even accounting for Cavalli-Sforza's genetic cluster map of the US and its ethnic diversity, the latest genotype research confirms "The vast majority of our samples are contained in the third set of clusters, which we label as assimilated immigrant groups. Although these clusters typically feature almost exclusively mixed European ancestry and very low genetic differentiation between one another, they can be distinguished primarily by geographic localization of their ancestral birth locations within the United States." https://www.nature.com/articles/ncomms14238 Despite significant polymorphism of DNA and additional genetic clusters over the years, the USA continues to this day to be a majority European population, genetically speaking. Of course one would have to look a the specific genetic cluster map of the troops involved in Somalia to be sure, but it is a fairly safe assumption that those fighting were of European heritage for the most part.

That's irrelevant, it has been widely accepted for decades that Blacks have higher testosterone levels than caucasians, and in turn caucasians have higher testosterone levels than Asians. Study after study has born this out, I attach another one below. When it became clear to me that Asians have significantly lower testosterone level than blacks or caucasians, you just had to put two and two together. The increased prevalence of homosexuality among Asians and the tendency for ladyboy culture has physiological roots. https://academic.oup.com/jcem/article/91/2/687/2843517

No, the house was pretty nice, the place had a lot of land and its own lake. But until my family put in a proper toilet, there was just this outhouse. This is typical in rural Sweden: The Swedish “Utedass” – simple wilderness toilet or important cultural icon? For British people, the term “outside loo” is something strongly associated with a way of life from our parents’ or even grandparents’ generations, conjuring visions of portly housewives in aprons, working men in cloth caps and children with shorts and grubby knees braving biting winds to scurry down to the bottom of the garden and “spend a penny”. It is an anachronism from a time when families gathered around the “wireless” for evening entertainment, prices were reckoned in shillings and baths were taken in a tin tub in the living room on a Friday night. But in Sweden, a country at the very forefront of modern communications technology and with one of the highest standards of living in the world, the outside toilet or “utedass” is still very much alive and well and an essential part of Swedish outdoor life. https://naturetravels.wordpress.com/2009/04/16/the-swedish-utedass-simple-wilderness-toilet-or-important-cultural-icon/ Let me tell, if you've had to go outside to use a Swedish outhouse in minus 40 degrees it traumatizes you for life. To this day I hate everything Scandinavian with a passion. The food was terrible too.

It was not a single engagement. In Somalia the Americans had multiple engagements, and overall they were outsmarted and outperformed. That's pretty significant when you look at the supposed average IQ of Somalis being 66. If US culture were so massively superior in every way to Somalia, how could the US elite military be defeated by Somali amateurs? It's astounding. It's kind of odd, how proponents of White cultural supremacy want to argue the empire and subjugation of others is evidence of cultural superiority, but when they are defeated, it says nothing. How strange.

I'm glad you asked. Largest every study of testosterone levels by ethnicity: https://www.auajournals.org/doi/10.1097/JU.0000000000003217.19

Sadly not. My family owned land in Smaland and we'd spend Christmas in the Swedish house. I had to go outside in minus 40 degrees to take a dump in a wooden outhouse with a hole in the ground. This was the early 80s. The Swedes probably use them to this day in rural areas: They have a real thing for these outside lavs. https://www.alamy.com/stock-photo/outside-lavatory-sweden.html?sortBy=relevant

That's exactly what I thought. I could hardly believe my own ears that Garrison ordered the retrieval of the pilot body in the midst of an urban battle. I suppose they did not get the two bodies that were paraded through Mogadischu. Looking at the effect those images had one could actually see the point in the no body left behind policy though.

Scandinavian culture? The Swedes were still taking a dump in a hole in the ground only 40 years ago. What have the Scandis ever achieved?

Yes, the reason is because the Russians are right and they know this. Their war is just and they will win. It's very different to Vietnam.

No Jim, they knew the pilot was dead. But Delta Force and the Rangers have a policy that even the dead bodies are not to be left behind. That is why Garrison ordered his men, once they had reached those to be evacuated to retrieve the dead pilot. They had to use vehicles to pull the wreckage of the helicopter apart to get to the pilot. It took a long time. He was already dead. They knew that.

No, let's continue with it. You make it sound like it was about sheer numbers. However, US soldiers tell a different story: "A U.S. participant in the firefight would later remark, "They used concealment very well. Usually all you saw of a shooter was the barrel of his weapon and his head." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Mogadishu_(1993)#:~:text=After the battle%2C dead American, the U.N. mission in 1995. What really caused the problem for the US infantry, and led to the Rangers and Delta Force elite soldiers being picked off, was the shooting down of the helicopters. The Somalis shot them down with fairly rudimentary weapons. Then they shot dead Delta Force soldiers from a distance. In contrast the US military actions were a litany of errors. Armoured vehicles supposed to protect soldiers sped off, unwittingly leaving soldiers exposed to fire and having to walk through a sniper hell. Relief convoys actually got lost in the city, turned around twice without reaching their target. The only reason the Americans got out was because Aidid thought he had inflicted sufficient losses on the Americans and was concerned about retaliation if all the remaining soldiers were killed, so he opened a corridor to allow the Americans to escape. The mistakes went to the very top: "Clinton expressed surprise that the battle had even occurred[115] and later claimed that he had decided on a diplomatic solution before the incident. Despite his apparent reservations, there had been no direct orders previously given to Task Force Ranger to halt operations against the SNA. The stand down order given to U.S. forces in Somalia led other UNOSOM II contingents to effectively avoid any confrontation with the SNA. This led to the majority of UNOSOM patrols in Mogadishu to cease and numerous checkpoints in SNA controlled territory to be abandoned." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Mogadishu_(1993)#:~:text=After the battle%2C dead American, the U.N. mission in 1995. So just before launching a major operation the Americans had given an order that led to checkpoints being abandoned. In contrast the Somali leadership had stuck to a plan and executed it: "The SNA leadership had the express goal of expelling U.S. forces from Somalia following the Abdi House Raid, and knew that the Americans would not be able to tolerate casualties, especially in a conflict they had no real stake. They believed that inflicting any notable casualties on the Americans would cause Congress and the public to turn against participation in UNOSOM II and withdraw from Somalia.[120][81][119] The SNA's objective was not to achieve a tactical military victory against the Americans and UNOSOM, but to sap their will to continue fighting and force a complete disengagement from Somalia." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Mogadishu_(1993)#:~:text=After the battle%2C dead American, the U.N. mission in 1995. So they had a strategic plan and executed it. Of course you can speculate about what may, could, possibly, would have most likely happend, but in the end that's just speculation. We need to go on what the facts actually were. And it would appear to be the case that the US forces were outhought and outperformed, from the very highest to the very lowest level, in Somalia. This despite a massive technological gap in the US' favour. So before we Westerners pat ourselves on the back and say how superior we are, we should look at what actually happened when we were fighting supposed inferior cultures. And it's quite surprising what happened.
