No it’s not. You want it to be to find blame on some Thais instead of the white perpetrator -
Tourist Arrested in Fatal Jet Ski Incident at Phuket Beach
khunJam replied to Georgealbert's topic in Phuket News
I watched the video and it looks like the guy on the jet ski was trying to maneuver to avoid the swimmer. They changed him with wrongful death of another person. I read some of the comments here and it’s always the same nonsense of faulting the Thai people. Well no Thai person was involved in the accident so blame the cops for jumping to conclusions. If a Thai person was involved in the accident then you would blame them and their so called lack of education. The cops here did their job, traced the culprit and nabbed him. Someone was killed, try not to forget that. -

I went on a mattress hunt, went to every furniture store Home Pro, Thaiwatsudu, MegaHome mattress specialty stores, all of them. The mattresses were either too soft too hard, price not an object and determined not to pay for something that I’d regret and found a Salik Roma latex. Absolutely perfect. I paid about 7500 for. 60000 for a soft back aching mattress, no way man.

I gave up smoking pakalolo decades ago when I realized it was making my pals stupid and figured it was probably affecting me the same way. Tried it a couple times since, no thanks. It really fogged up my head.

Here is a place for Americans to Apologize to Canadians
khunJam replied to Jingthing's topic in Political Soapbox
Are you still sore about Hillary losing? Don’t you think it’s time to move on? In case you missed it, in contrast to the previous 4 years of Trump Biden trashed the economy squandered billions and his flunky vp failed miserably and we all know that makes you sore.- 87 replies

Do you wear a helmet when riding a motorcycle in Thailand?
khunJam replied to MalcolmB's topic in General Topics
It is amazing how many farangs I see speeding and zigzagging through traffic with and without a helmet. Even with a helmet survival is not guaranteed and if it’s a heavy well insulated helmet the weight will break your neck and if it’s a flimsy Thai helmet it will jar your brain. So hey there you speedsters why risk being stupid when you can live another day. -

Yes. And it’s a high quality arai and I bought my girlfriend a shoie. She religiously wears it now. -
Is 1 million baht enough to retire in Thailand?
khunJam replied to Celsius's topic in General Topics
Don’t get strung along by investments and risk losing your money, put in gold or keep it the bank. If you have a degree, any degree then you qualify for a teaching job that pays roughly 30k a month. If you don’t have a degree then you can find an agent that can help meander through the process and find a teaching job where you won’t need a degree. It’s been done and can be done. Then live off that job and don’t spend any of your savings. -

khunJam replied to Celsius's topic in General Topics
Yes you can do it! Shack up with your girlfriend and she can feed you. Or get one of those cheap paying teaching jobs that are offered to farangs, 30k a month. In spite of what all the negative replies you are getting, if there’s a will then there is a way. -
