  1. From the same guy who predicted 80K by the end of 2022
  2. I'm a bit confused now, so the last time you rode a real bike was 40 years ago, so in fact at best you have been riding real bikes for 10 years max, maybe even that was the one and only, not 50 years
  3. Can you post that once again please, because I couldn't read it the first 10 times
  4. Don't think 110 is extreme low, a member of this forum claims in another thread he has 90/65
  5. Why would anyone need to take blood pressure in the morning? You only can suffer from a stroke in the morning. A realistic blood pressure test is taken at a random time of the day, and without special preperations
  6. Because you don't sit all day with your hands and knees together and slowly breathing in and out. You are moving around all day Not everyone has white coat syndrome, only a small percentage suffer from it, so yes it's a fake result
  7. A realistic result you get when you test with your realistic behaviour throughout the day. The below is not realistic behaviour Sit with your feet and knees together, fold your hands in your lap and close your eyes. Breathe in and fill your lungs with air then, release the air very slowly through just your mouth, this stimulates the vagus nerve which lowers BP. Repeat half a dozen times then test your BP, it really does work.
  8. So you are explaining how to get a faked result
  9. Plenty of official studies available which state that forearm measurements are not accurate, hence my question
  10. I notice from the listings that all those BP monitors come with a 22-32cm cuff, and there are reviews in almost every listing that they are too small. Although I'm by far not a bodybuilder, I frequently work out, and just measured my upper arm, and yes 32cm would probably not large enough. So how do people go about this, as I see from the reviews I'm not the only one, and most likely this affects most westerners.
  11. That is the case in most airports worldwide, in fact there are companies that own the duty free exclusivity in 63 airports, https://finance.yahoo.com/news/10-biggest-duty-free-companies-184348418.html https://www.worlddutyfreejobs.com/about_wdf/our-business/
  12. So you enjoy getting thrown water (including the ice cubes) at every day for a month, and getting talking powder in your eyes? You ever been to Thailand during Songkran?
  13. They just live on water only for 2 weeks that month
  14. Like I said, it worked the first year I was with the bank. The amount I had to reclaim that year was only a few hundred baht. I don't want to know your finances, and are actually not interested in this discussion, because even if they withheld the tax I would have to reclaim the excess every year anyway. So i have only 1 question. Do you have a single bank account on which you for 2 consecutive years received more than 20K interest?
  15. The first year I gave Krungsri my tax ID, they withheld only the tax on the interest above 20K. The next year they started to deduct the tax on the first 1 bht of interest received, and it has been like this ever since. But I think you got the correct answer. If they know you will earn more than 20K interest, they will deduct from the first baht
  16. Works for some, not for others. I have tax ID - yellow book - pink card, name it and i have it. I have accounts with 6 banks. It worked the first year with Krungsri, after that tax got deducted. To be clear, they don't deduct every month, but at the 6th month they do it for the previous 6. The other 5 banks deduct tax as well, be it monthly or every 6 months. That said, when I go to the revenue office, i get withholding tax back on way more than 20k interest
  17. That is a very low reading for a male of your age. I went for a fasting blood sugar test this morning and at the lab first test was 140, they thn checked left arm and that was 156. I drove straight to Banglamung hospital as they have pressure monitors at the entrance. First test was 156, second one 140, and then it went to low 130's
  18. Thanks I looked up Yuwell, couldn't find cigii, and the price is acceptable. Found the YUWELL YE660B and the YE650A which are 200 baht different, 570 an 770. Any reason why I should select the more expensive one over the the cheaper one?
  19. My question was not directed at you, hence I didn't reply to your post, but you may be too stoned to comprehend that.
  20. How can she sneak into the house while working in another country for 4 years already, and how would you pay road tax and insurance all those years without a blue book. Story stinks
  21. What is your other username on this forum? Don't be shy, we all make mistakes sometimes
  22. Looking at purchasing a blood pressure monitor, so what are decent options at a reasonable price? On lazada i see them for 150 baht with 5 year warranty. Yeah right, that must be the real thing, not? Reading reviews like, very good but haven't tested it yet, also don't help of course. Any suggestions welcome
  23. I got the email today, and got right away some tricky questions, so I paused it. Don't know if you completed already, but if you could advise. My account is registered with my Belgian ID, but of course they know I'm in Thailand. First question was, what you use it for, and I answered general living expenses. The second question was more tricky, asking which country I will primarily send and receive from. Would have been easier if they had separate questions for send and receive. I know you can not use it to send money from Thailand, yet Thailand is listed in the drop-down menu of the answers. So I receive money in my Thai account, but send money to all over the world from my Belgian account. Which country did you select, if I may ask?
  24. Correct, vouchers only work through the app, and I follow the same procedure as you. Can't search on a 7" screen, so use the app only for checkouts
