Siriraj Says All Beds For Critical Covid Patients Full
BenStark replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
Nope, one hospital out of the many in Bangkok posted that their beds for CRITICAL patients are full. You posted that there are 401 critical patients NATIONWIDE, that is spread over 76 provinces of which each have multiple hospitals. Maybe Siriraj should add 3 beds and double their capacity, or stop the scaremongering -
Around my swimming pool I have sand wash, and after 12 years it starts ageing. It has a few cracks and also some small holes where the gravel in the sand wash has come off. I know sand wash can not be repaired, and I would also never again want sand wash, as it comes in the filter and blocks the valve from turning. So I was thinking about maybe sealing it with clear fibreglass resin (not sure if that is the correct description) to prevent the gravel from further loosening, and still keep the looks of sand wash. Any ideas on this?

Foreign buyers fuel 200% surge in Thai luxury property sales
BenStark replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
In 2021 there were no foreign tourists, so very little will have been sold to foreigners. From 1 to 3 is 200% increase, but it sounds better if you omit the real numbers- 45 replies

US debt ceiling: Will there be enough time to get a deal through?
BenStark replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Now wait, if the economy has to be slowed down, that means that people are earning money and spending it. Right? So if people are spending a lot of money on buying things, the producers could actually lower their profit margin, to still have a higher profit at the end. Right? But instead, they decide to increase the prices because there is high demand, and their profits skyrocket. So in fact, inflation is a product of the greed from the manufacturers. -
Return of Chinese Tourists to Thailand Has Pros, Cons
BenStark replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
No it is not vague. I know a few attractions which the Chinese visit by the bus load, as well as hotels where they stay, and they all owned by Chinese. The Chinese also own loads of condos which they rent out to Chinese for the short term. All paid in China. The 500 billion baht is just another figure the government picked out of thin air. How would they know how much the Chinese, or any other nationality for that matter, spends? -

31% of Thais eye battery electric vehicles as next car choice

First of all, this is a discussion forum. If you don't know the meaning of that, look it up. Secondly I didn't make a single reference to the UK, try to scale up your reading capabilities. Don't need to reply, as I will not see your post distorting the reality anymore. -

You replied to another poster who posted the experience of his friend in the UK. Indeed you didn't use the word fast charger in THAT post, but you indeed used it i n your reply to me. Neta V review article So since your quote relates to a charge from 20% to 80% only, that means the Neta V has to find a fast charger, suitable for his car, every 200 km for the entire 1000 km from here to Phuket. So do you confirm those fast chargers are available every 200 km, otherwise your quote is just another distortion of the reality. -

BenStark replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Yeah sure, you forgot to add it is actually from 20% to 80%, not from 0 to 80%, and then of course remains the question if a fast charger for that car is available, which yourself stated it may not be the case. And someone in the UK already found out the hard way -

Again no comparison. The MG is subsidized by the Thai government for about 200.000 baht. Anyway, I'm out of here, because an EV will never be comparable to an ICE vehicle, for many reasons. And then I don't even talk about the resale value. Let's talk again in 5 years, when you want to replace your EV, with almost dead batteries, which will cost more than half of the car's new price to replace. You think you're going to have any takers? Same with solar. ROI of 10 years, if you werent unfortunate that your panels got damaged or died prematurely, and by that time it is time to replace them. Yes I pay electric bill, but the money you have invested in a solar installation, I can put in a safe investment and easily double in those 10 year. Bye -

Stop comparing a Neta V with a Vios, Yaris or Mazda 2, other than the size it can not be compared. Neta is a car with many problems, which is sold at a 100.000 baht loss. -

Oh, I thought that in another post you claimed that EV cars these days were not much more expensive than their ICE versions 78.000 vs 174.060 Yuan is a small difference? That the Thai government rips you an ear, has not to be taken in account, since it is an import and excise taxes are high in Thailand -

It's not MY review, it was written by a reputable media organisation. So even more stops to recharge Maybe you were not in the situation, where you had to re-accelerate form an ALMOST stand still? For short distances I buy a bicycle. When I buy a car it's because I have to travel further than the 7/11 on the corner of my street. You say that the review is inaccurate, and then you make up things like above yourself. Maybe you should take some driving lessons. -

Though in your reply to me you give the impression that you own a Neta V But those on the forum that test drove it, were only critical of the ride & suspension, and to be expected for the price point of entry level cars. Oh only about the drive and the suspension, what else is there in a car. -
