    Looks like he didn't know how to ride the bike very well, and I'll bet no license either. Good job eliminating themselves one at a time, maybe everyone who saw it will learn a lesson. Lane splitting in a country with narrow roads, and ill-trained drivers is insane.

    Anyone who gets on a tourist bus in Thailand needs to have their head examined! Best advice when getting off the plane is to avoid getting in/on any vehicle driven by a Thai, your life depends on it.

    They've achieved vote buying, that's about it. Nothing else has changed for the better, in fact, I can't name one thing that has gotten better.

    Untrained drivers (lacking any knowledge of road laws/rules), a me-first attitude, lack of personal safety, absolutely no care for the safety of others, an air of invincibility, average IQ's of 88, and they believe in superstitious Amulets for protection. It would be like walking into a room of 10 year olds back in our home countries, and handing them all keys to cars/motorcycles and saying "have fun".

    I believe there was an allowance for family (direct family) cards though, like mine (TRUE) is in my wife's name, but we both share the same surname. I've heard nothing from the bank, so I assume they don't have an issue with it.

    Yup, the article said he should have been at no higher than 200 ft and near the east bank of the river, and he was half a mile off the approved route.

    I read an article a few minutes ago, where they state the helicopter was not at a proper height or the correct flight path for military helicopters travelling though that area.
