They problem you have many IOs at IMM offices that are just cowboy and cowgirls. Dubious intellect levels, and they just love to exert what little authority they have over you If the head of IMM wants to clean up the IMM and raise the profile of the IMM organization, he would mandate all IOs in all Provinces must follow and implement the IMM policies exactly as gazetted. No foreigner has any issues with providing the required paperwork and doing all the legwork collection information as required by the IMM Website. But the BS encountered by many foreigners at IMM processing just demonstrates that many officers are out of control. .

IMHO of 40 years visiting, working and now retired here in Thailand Most, and I do mean most, Thai drivers of any vehicles here are actually brain-dead. No common sense of defensive driving skills, no or little knowledge or adherence of the road rules, no situational awareness, no consideration for other road users, always speeding, rarely obeying speed limit restriction signs, always tailgating and pushing vehicles in front of them to go faster, never stopping at Zebra crossings and always speeding in a hurry to create an accident to kill and or mane others. And in particular motorbike antics, well not enough space here to cover their stupidity. Just look at the annual road stats here, they confirm my observations and experiences. You can't put brains in statues. PS. Add to that the almost zero police enforcement of violators and lack of harsh government penalties to curb the wild west roadway craziness of Thai drivers.

IMHO I have said this many times and from what I see here nothing has changed. The Immigration Database is not real-time connected to the 90-day online reporting Database. So, 90-day reports are often rejected on not what you have inserted in your 90-day online form if it's all ciorrect. The Imm officer is looking at your form details and referencing it against your Imm Visa details and possible TM30 details

The biggest shortcoming with these 90-dayonline reporting rejections is there is no error code to explain why it was rejected. A rejection from my understanding is the IO checking the 90-day reporting database (not the IMM database) against your form data entries. A smart software solution would check the user form data entries at the submission time. The form should be re-displayed on rejection, and the field(s) in errors should be highlighted in red. This is 101 basics of form building, just look at any online airline or hotel booking service. What I am highlighting here is the immature intelligence of these IMM people defining and designing this software. But hold your breath, the site goes offline into maintenance mode from Feb 23-26 Fingers crossed when it comes back online we have some smarter functionality; miracles can happen. You see, Thais are so much smarter than everyone else; don't canvass users for input requirements, don't do end-user testing and acceptance before releasing, don't have an online user feedback and support option and don't have a live chat feature to help solve rejections real time. BTW, if you are summoned to go to your local IMM office due to a rejection, do not waste your time talking to an IO about your online rejection, they have no knowledge or interest in the 90-day online reporting system.

One Thai Immigration VISA legislation, one set of requirements and rules and one set of implementation policies by ALL IO's. Surely no too much to ask for!
