  1. I consider this entire topic yet another malicious transparent effort to insult all Jewish Israeli nationals.
  2. To clarify about this all Israeli passport holders are banned entering all of Indonesia. Same as Malaysia. Not because of bad behavior as tourists or expats but because of foreign policy about the government of Israel. I think that your post implied differently.
  3. Not sure yet that I'll bother. They seemed definitive in telling me it wouldn't work
  4. Just as I was back in the U.S., in Thailand I'm a food slut. I love my variety and only Thai food or only any other food would not be fun for me. It also is very dependent on what is available that is good and affordable enough where I live. In a typical week I'm eating Japanese, Sichuan Chinese, Mexican, Indian, Italian, Turkish, and of course Thai. Recently I've been eating more Mexican because the options got better in Pattaya. I no longer eat Iranian because the good places closed. For Thai I find that I consciously push myself to eat Thai food more often, not really because I want to, but because I know I'm in Thailand and it would be stupid not to. To make things more interesting, I'm always seeking more regional Thai restaurants with dishes beyond the typical stereotypical same same made to order menus. I think if I ever move from Thailand that I'll regret not eating it more often here. It varies but I guess in a typical week of lunches and dinners perhaps three times. As far as international food rankings, I don't rate Thai food all that high. For me Chinese with it's amazing regional varieties is tops.
  5. Another one of those iconic stories where you just know it happened in Pattaya before reading that it is. Home sweet home.
  6. That's interesting. During my last failed call to get them to move a refund to a voucher, I asked if I could set the account to automatically generate a voucher as it's impossible for me to use the wallet money. They said no. I didn't think to ask if they could just sent it back to the bank. I don't use credit or debit cards with them though. Lately it's been QR codes on a bank app. Another annoying thing, even though I have been quite a high volume customer with Lazada for many years, when I asked them if they could elevate my problem and fix things so I could actually use the wallet. No! Impossible! Thanks a bunch.
  7. That's simply stupid. Some of the loudest and most effective anti maga fascist voices have been from traditional conservative republicans. Trump is NOT a conservative!
  8. Again, it's not about hating. You're like a broken record. We've had deniers like you every time a dangerous regime has emerged in history.
  9. It's not about hating. It's about facing the reality of what Trump is about. Acting as if he's a normal American president is insane
  10. He is a fascist. He has made the Ukraine Russia war worse. He is inciting a civil war. A peace prize for him? Never.
  11. Translation -- Trump is a white nationalist.
  12. Yeah Trump is a criminally corrupt fascistic murdering scumbag.
  13. Trump probably thinks Spaniards are Mexicans.
  14. I love that a pro democracy Venezualan lady won the prize as opposed to a pro dictatorship pro extrajudicial murder Yankee Putin's poodle vulgarian.
  15. Voting on this poll is now CLOSED. No rigging, spitting or Russia Russia Russia here!
  16. Much anticipated 1990's era gay / U.S Marines themed dramedy BOOTS called the best tv series of the season by USA Today is finally out. Because it was so over hyped, I found episode 1 not quite living up to my unreasonably high expectations, but I'll still definitely watch the series. The main character is a gay kid and the story starts with him and his best (and only) friend (a straight guy) both shipping off to Parris Island Marines Boot Camp. I suppose of special interest to those who have been to boot camp especially Marines (thank you for your service) and of course gay guys who were treated shabbily during their schooldays. Historical note -- In 1990 it was against the rules to be gay in the U.S. military meaning being discovered would lead to dishonorable discharge. No spoilers as I don't know but I'm assuming that issue will probably come up in this story. The Clinton era "Don't ask don't tell policy" which made it somewhat better for gay soldiers didn't start until 1994.
  17. So funny how some people are trying to legitimize the power of genocidal war criminal dictator Putin.
  18. Bottom line -- how can they give it to someone who is murdering everyone on boats without any due process. Regardless of any good deeds, the total picture of Trump doesn't pass the smell test.
  19. Misleading. That's just an opinion columnist. Not the Post saying that.
  20. He's declared war on the majority of Americans that oppose him. He's not a real peacemaker. He's a naricissistic freak of history and the sooner his power goes away, the better.
  21. Ukraine predated Russ. This is all getting silly. Modern Ukraine is a separate and sovereign nation. Genocidal war criminal dictator Putin wants to erase that. This isn't a two sides thing. Ukraine's cause is just. Putin's is not.
