I can't really highly recommend Sebastian 2024 a Finnish produced movie set in London. However it held my interest well enough to watch it. It's about the pressures on a young writer to succeed early (25 seen as too old to be a wunderkind) so his plan is to write a novel about sex work by stealthily acting as a sex worker himself. There are graphic scenes of intergenerational sex to be experienced, the undeniable beauty of the main character, and the completely predictable complications of his secret hustler world mixing with his public persona. But nothing earth shattering that hasn't been done before If I had to grade it: C+.
