Could be. I really think a big reason I stayed stoned so long is that I was in the hippie counter culture and that was the culture. Being stoned every day and I do mean every day often even while in school gave me status in my hippie peer group. It was also fun to stick it to the Just Say No right wingers and still get straight A grades while stoned. In other words I kept doing it long after I was really enjoying it.

OK, I'll start. I was a hippie. Was basically stoned every day from age 13 to 19. I was psychologically addicted. No doubt given the early age, it did damage. At 19, I realized the stuff made me paranoid and I didn't really enjoy it that much. Also it would trigger flashbacks of psychedelics (I guess that was a feature). So I just stopped it and sometimes drank booze instead but happily never became an alcoholic. But this was OLD SCHOOL pot. So weak! So years ago in Amsterdam I had some puffs at a coffee shop. The NEW STUFF. I was not prepared. I went out and practically collapsed on the streets. I could feel the side effects for a month. So assuming the NEW STUFF is going to be available here, while I like the idea of freedom of choice, I am not so sure I want to touch it at all.

Whether Mr. Trump is eventually indicted or not, just imagine how he is feeling now. There is no doubt that he knows that there is ample evidence to send him to prison and the decision to proceed is on one man. If he isn't quaking in his golf shoes he isn't paying attention. Scratch that. It isn't only one man. The state of Georgia could get him on the infamous (find me the votes) phone call. I find the people still saying there is nothing to nail him on hilarious. There is plenty to nail him on. The problem is having the political cajones to actually do it.

The committee isn't a court. But they are setting the table. Donald John Trump is clearly GUILTY of conspiracy to defraud the United States just based on overwhelming evidence of the pressure he was putting on Mike Pence to overturn the election. FELONY. It doesn't need to be complicated,. They don't need a smoking gun on the insurrection riot conspiracy (they use encrypted apps so not likely to find). They don't need ten indictments with ten convictions. One FELONY one will do the job. He's an old man. Such a conviction puts him out of the picture (but not his allied politicians or cult followers). This is coming down to a political decision for Garland. Perhaps the most important such decision in American history. It is not customary to lay criminal charges on former presidents. He will face a lot of pressure to do so after the committee finishes. If he proceeds I'm assuming he will know a conviction is almost definite. Will that spark civil war? Maybe. But we may be headed for civil war and / or the end of democracy anyway. They haven't managed to change the laws that would have made the 2020 coup possible so it will likely happen again. If Garland acts, at least for the sake of history, an effort will have been made. More than can be said for Joe Manchin.

Total bull. Its a list of sexual minorities who are marginalized to varying degrees internationally including sometimes the death penalty. Of course cisgender heterosexuals MEN AND WOMEN are the overwhelming dominant MAJORITY in all nations so they would not be included in list of MINORITIES. This is why straight people don't need a straight parade. Every parade except Pride is already a straight parade. Every month already straight month. Straight people don't need marriage rights They already have them everywhere. If you're thirsty to be a marginalized minority well perhaps you can be satisfied but being straight isn't it -

I agree. But I don't see it happening. The alphabet inflation constantly invites homophobic derision seen here on every related topic. There really isn't a grand council of gay stuff. Things just develop in certain ways. -
I seriously doubt that it's available here. I have had it in Chiang Mai several times but long ago.
