What is the sound of one Trump hand clapping? Pakman brings up a legitimate point about Trump's current clapping style. But I'm surprised that he didn't reference older clips to see if that style started recently or has always been. So I did that. This is for real. Currently very strange. Six years ago -- NORMAL CLAPPING. Yes the title says now but it's from six years ago.

A lesson that I've found in my life which obviously doesn't always work, is that SOMETIMES the best solution is to do nothing and wait. The trick is to be wise and/or lucky enough to pick those situations. So in this case I had a complication with a U.S. bank account (I won't go into the boring details of how that developed as it can and does happen to expats for a variety of reasons). This is a bank where I have been using faux U.S. residency details over decades with success before. I'm sure if I came out as an expat to them they would close the account so I'm very careful with my communications with them. Well of course after it was frozen there was a very red message when logging into online banking that I needed to call to resolve. I didn't call. I figured such a call would have been a very high risk of being outed as an expat. The account has about 1,000 which for me anyway wouldn't be tragic to lose. If the account had a much bigger balance I probably would have called. Much later I get an email saying you need to logon to your account to read an important message. I did not. So much much later I got an email saying I must logon to my account within 30 days or the information in it will no longer be availalble. Before I could see the account but just not do anything with it. So this time, they got me, I had to logon. SURPRISE. The red warning message was now gone. The urgent email that I was told I must read long ago did not exist. The issue that previously was related to the account being frozen was fixed by them with no action by me. I couldn't have predicted this but it turned out to be yet another case where doing nothing worked out better than doing something.

People need to get the message that it's their own responsibility to protect themselves. Especially if you're talking about high risk sex acts with high risk partners. Assume they might infect you whatever they tell you or don't tell you. I don't know the details of this case. There are cases of people intentionally infecting people in a kind of "I hate the world and this is my revenge" kind of psychology, but I don't think every case of a positive person not telling is anything like that. A positive person might think, well this other person doesn't care and is likely positive himself, or it's not my responsibility to protect others, it's their responsibility. Not saintly behavior for sure but we're talking about a drug addict.

Yes obviously. But the author of the email has made it clear that the Bubba referenced in the email is NOT Bill Clinton. So the question remains -- who is the Bubba that Trump may have blown in the alleged picture? If Trump did indeed blow a dude and there is a picture of it, that would be of public interest for sure, but not anything that would blow his presidency. Of course, It would certainly be embarrassing for Trump and not help with his one way bromance with Putin. But it wouldn't even mean that Trump is gay or bi. Stuff happens. Pictures get taken. Vance did some drag in college but is not a drag queen.

Trump acting in an incredibly guilty fashion? Why? The biggest scandal in American presidential history. This video suggests something else that I've been hearing about. Perhaps the "secret" that we don't know yet is more connected to FINANCES than sex?

To boil down this issue to the core. The extreme measures that Trump has taken to try to suppress information about his ties to the Epstein scandal are remarkable and totally unprecedented in American history. So WHY? Everyone already knows about Trump's dirty dog history with women. None of that hurt him before. There is already strong evidence that Trump isn't a pedo as Epstein was and that he didn't sexually engage with Epstein's underage crew. There are reports that photos exist of him partying with Epstein in the presence of topless or nude underage girls. But not having sex with them. Would that be enough to end his presidency for those pictures to show up? Bad for him but probably not. There is strong evidence however that he DID know about the nature Epstein's sex crimes and didn't take action (before he was a politician). Covering up for a friend or eventual ex-friend isn't likely to end his presidency. Is he now covering up for other friends? Very doubtful. Trump cares about himself and wouldn't sacrifice himself for friends. So here is the bottom line. Trump thinks there is something that hasn't leaked yet that will sink his presidency! He wouldn't have gone to such extreme measures if there wasn't. The public deserves to know what it is that he's hiding.

It isn't news that there are no perfect outcomes. Ukraine is willing to make a deal. Putin is not. So Ukraine must fight on.

Agreed, NATO is not ready. Russia is a real very serious threat and if they prevail against Ukraine, the threat to NATO will exponentially increase. So stop them before that happens.

Actually that isn't it. That forum has enjoyed very weak participation for many years. The audience that it was included here to provide a space for simply wasn't interested. That was proven again and again. Even when topics did exist, usually most of the posts were from anti-gay bigots anyway. I support the retirement of that forum. Again, if you want to open a topic with a LGBT connection search for another forum here and post it. I think in almost all cases, there is a place most any such topic can fit here. It turns out there simply was not sufficient demand for a separate forum.
