Danish Expat Risks Prison in Thailand Over Lost Car Incident
Jingthing replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
If there is a moral to this nightmare, I guess it's not to sign any police document you don't understand. Easier said than done.- 147 replies

Well agreed it's a huge advantage for her. But Biden also had that issue and he was losing. So not ONLY that.

Are you American? Most Americans with basic understanding of the job of VICE presidents understand what the job is: Be a YES man for the president. Always supporting and defending the president in everything NO MATTER WHAT. Mirror the policy positions of the president even if they are not all the same as they feel. For example if Trump had picked Haley to be his VP she would have been required to radically change her position on Russia-Ukraine while she was VP. Be available as a stand in for the president diplomatically, For example attend many events abroad representing the president. Be available to take over as president immediately if the president becomes disabled or dies. What happened with Kamala Harris is NOT a normal job of a VP. This is the first time this has happened in American history where a president has been close to being nominated where he exits from seeking the nomination. Therefore to expect Harris or any other politician to have developed a fully mature policy position campaign of their own divorced from the president INSTANTLY is an inhuman expectation. People should expect what they see Harris doing -- working very hard on both winning AND differentiating herself from her president. We're electing a President Harris who has her own Vice president to mirror HER positions.

Harris was VICE president. Still is but it now running for president. VICE presidents for the most part do not have and should not have separate policy agendas from their president. Do you magadonians begin to get that!?! She was thrust into this at the last minute due to a historically unique situation. So yes she is a separate person with a separate political policy agenda than Biden NOW. If she had BEFORE, that would mean she was a horrible vice president. So it wouldn't be humanly possible for her to have a fully baked policy agenda of her own on such short notice. Given these historically ridiculous time constraints and the reality that above all her job is to WIN against the maga fascists, it's hard to imagine anyone doing a better job than she has done up to this point. Including of course her first major presidential decision -- picking the totally amazing Tim Walz to be her vice president. You want a president who can rapidly adapt to a crisis situation as brilliantly as she has. This is a binary choice. Trump or Harris. For decent Americans, there is only one decent choice and that is Harris.

Trump cultists are having conniption fits. Enjoy and bless your dear hearts! President Harris will be YOUR president too. Let's not go back to the chaos and American carnage of Trump.

Trump Breaks Security Protocol to Comfort Supporter
Jingthing replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Those bone spurs sure did heal up goodly. -
I think you're wrong UNLESS there is a massive blue landslide. The maga fascist movement is now unfortunately much bigger than just Trump. They won't quit the maga stuff quickly or easily unless they're forced to humiliating large losses.

The Curtain Falls: Russia’s YouTube Ban and Its Impact on Society
Jingthing replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Well, Russians can still use VPNS but most won't especially older people. Also as far as Russian youtube creators with google accounts in Russia, those accounts have been closed, so they are fully demonitized. Only relevant to Russia based youtubers with outside Russia audiences as there has been no monetization inside Russia for a long time. They of course have in Russia alternatives with regime participation for the likes of Z icon Shaman. -
Nothing burger.

Won't help Trump. Helps Harris. Start 17:00. Best predictor in the world.
