Ukraine’s Fate Was Sealed Long Before Aid Was Cut
Jingthing replied to Social Media's topic in World News
With maga, cruelty is the point. At this point, I think the majority of Americans don't recognize our own country anymore. Trying to annex Canada. Being recognized by the Kremlin as being in complete synch with their agenda. Yes I'm saying that a large portion of the Trump voters (I call them the egg prices brigade) had no idea what they were voting for now that see what the Musk - Trump 2.0 regime is actually getting them. -

Yes. Traitor. -
I didn't say that. Maybe read the item before hurling stupid flames.

Zero chance of that. They aren't even trying to reduce the deficit. It's all about more tax cuts for billionaires.

Uh oh. Social Security Payments Could Be Interrupted For First Time In 80 Years Social Security, the bedrock of safety net payments to 61 million Americans, could be interrupted by personnel cuts made by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). It could create an economic catastrophe, at least for those who rely heavily on the funds. The 61 million people who receive Social Security payments include retirees, people with disabilities, and their dependents and survivors. Last year, total annual costs were $1.6 trillion, making it the largest expense of the federal government. The average payment to retirees, 52 million recipients, is just short of $2,000 a month. These payments make up about a third of the incomes of Americans who are over 65. The number is much higher for some. According to the Social Security Administration, “Among Social Security beneficiaries age 65 and older, 12% of men and 15% of women rely on Social Security for 90% or more of their income.”

In any case, he's a traitor. How a traitor became the U.S. president TWO TIMES does reflect badly on the entire country. -
One thing that can be said with certainty, for Americans with business to do with SS, including missing payments, and suspension of benefits, it's going to go from very bad to unspeakably bad as far as access to a human being to get service.

Trump is not just another politician. He's destroying the American brand permanently and transforming a very long standing constitutional democratic republic into a lawless fascist dictatorship. He's also senile, clearly insane, and considers himself the God King of America. Quite impossible to ignore that.

Of course it's not Russia hating. It is hating what the regime there has done and that does extend to the segment of the population there that opening supports that. I deeply hate that the fascists are taking over the USA, but will also love the USA. They are different things. -

Trumpist misinformation. -
On a Thai, not so much. I would just assume it's for fashion and the person is ignorant. On a white guy, yes very offensive, but such people are also ignorant in a different way.

Not the Machurian candidate but rather the Muscovite President.

For calling people that also have the same app installed in the U.S.. I find whatsapp works really well. For some reason, Telegram doesn't. I prefer Telegram for chatting. It's unfortunate that Telegram has such a stigma. It's just a tool. The way you use it determines whether you're using it criminally or not. VOIP services are good for calling all numbers, not only people with the same apps installed.

Yes, now that I have fallen for the 99 dollar "lifetime" deal I am realizing that their heavily promoted 2FA capabiity is not to be counted on. The 2FA was what originally attracted them to me so I'm less than satisfied. I do think there is a good chance they'll be around for a long time because of their main area, larger scale BUSINESS applications. So I haven't decided whether to even try to get a refund yet (30 day window) because I'm skepitcal they'd honor it and also having just the voice number is worth at least something to me. The people saying "too good to be true" were not far off. On the other hand, it's not worthless either.

Jingthing replied to Yagoda's topic in Political Soapbox
He's definitely an incredibly useful tool for Putin. The details of why he's acting that way probably don't matter and we probably won't ever know. It's hard to say if he's controlled by Putin or just controlling himself for Putin because he wants to do that. Again, what's the difference as far as his behavior and priceless value to Putin? -
I suggest you hold off for now and try their one month trial instead if it's for 2FA. As you're obviously into texts out, this is for BUSINESSES and they don't tell you ther is major thing you need to do yourself for that to work more than 15 days. You need to register, give a lot of info a government agency, and I think there is a hefty annual fee. That's for outgoing only. Apparently no need for that for incoming. The fee might be covered for the monthly plan. I did a test signing up for Twitch and the number was regejected as not a mobile. The voice thing is good and the web app works on PC and Android but I might try to get a refund at this point. The "lifetime" offers are still on.

Hopefully the next PM of the sovereign nation of CANADA. Hands off, yankee imperialist Trump! Ex-Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland is running to replace Trudeau as Canada's prime minister | AP News www.apnews.com/article/chrystia-freeland-liberals-prime-minister-trudeau-91fa6826201268e30370fc2fc608aab1 She was just interviewed by Bill Maher on Real Time. Very impressive indeed.

Putin and Trump share the same "sphere of influence" ideology so it's natural that he is on Putin's side. Putin wants Ukraine and more and Trump wants Canada and more. Same same -- tragically not so different. The USA under Trump has exited the western world. USA promises are as worthless as Putin's. Yes, it has come to that. This is a big adjustment for decent Americans that are horrified by this change. But they need to adjust because the damage to the American brand is permanent and also Trump is quickly succeeding into turning his regime into an autocratic dictatorship where future elections will be just for show. You can port your number into Phone2. I think that includes Skype numbers.

Vladimir Vladimirovich thanks you for repeating his disinformation.
